Demos are also anxiously awaiting the release of the new colors! One color was leaked on the demo-only magazine.... Wisteria Wonder, a light purplish color. Guess SU thinks that'll tide us over until demos can view the new catalog PDF online on 6/1. BTW, there are some new products they showed in this magazine that's making all of us a little nutty, in a good way, of course! CANNOT WAIT until 6/1!!!

That is a current DSP not a new in color. You can tell its not a color too because the name isn't an alliteration!

Hmmm...let's start guessing what colors will be included, based on popular colors of the day. My guesses would be:

Something honeysuckle, as that is the color of the year according to Pantone.

A shade of Williamsburg colonial blue...it's a popular paint color right now.

Acid toned saturated colors like fuschia, lime, and neon yellow

Shabby chic colors, like verdigris and cream.

This lot of In Colors has left me flat. I really didn't love a single one. They were okay, but nothing I would feel compelled to order in any quantity.

We already have the Pantone Honeysuckle - Melon Mambo. I love that color - it is so bright and fun. So unlike our rainy, rainy spring. Glad we are getting a lighter purple. It's so funny that lime green is in - we had that color way back and it was replaced by Creamy Caramel which is now gone too!

I do love the pear pizzaz. For some reason it just works for me and I'm glad it's around for another year. I recently got the pear seam binding and I love it. I really stocked up on almost amythyst so it would take a really 'wow' purple to spend any $ right now. I am excited to see the new colors as always.

I just held Melon Mambo up to Pantone's Honeysuckle. Not even close. Honeysuckle is much lighter, and leans more toward coral than red, I think. It sort of bridges the gap between regal rose and melon mambo, if that makes sense.

What a surprise, a light purple to fill in for all the ones they got rid off! This year's In Colors are OK-but they've had better. I've only bought the markers, variety pack of cs and the Pear Pizazz ribbon. And got the 6 the 6 paper pack hostess gift. Maybe they'll grow on me more the 2nd year or combined with the new colors.

I love that Honeysuckle too. SU needs a more cheerful coral/orange In Color-Dusty Durango and Peach Parfait are a bit muddy IMHO.

Don't forget colors look really different on the computer monitor than they might in real life. I really wonder if we'll get another pink....we have so many!

I know, we have tons of pinks, but they must be popular, luckily, it's one of my favorite colors! I'd like to see a light, soft gray--with no brown or green in it--I miss Going Gray, Basic Gray is too dark sometimes.

It's fun to speculate!

Will Pear Pizzazz be around for another year?? I thought it would retire with the other in-colors.

The current incolors stay for one more year and 5 new ones come in. Those five stay for 2 years. So each set is good for two years, but they are on rotation so there will be new ones each year. Hope that makes sense.

I'm not a demo anymore. But I did get the last stampin success magazine. I think that new Wisteria color is very similar to the color of this quick reply box here on the site. Looks to be a very pale purple.

I stand corrected... demos DON'T get to see the full catalog PDF on 6/1, only selected products. Full online catalog won't be available until 7/1. So we ALL have to wait, unless demos place an order in June, then they'll get a catalog in their box. Ugh! Want to see those new colors!

I believe you get to see some sneak peeks on 6/1. Usually they let you preorder the new incolors.

Yes, a few new items are posted online but not the whole catalog. In the past they have had the in colors available.....

Well, I'll be ordering because I HAVE TO SEE THAT NEW CATTY!
I love the look of Wisteria Wonder but I also loved {love} Almost Amethyist and have some stocked up. WW looks so much like it, but it is probably a bit darker.

FWIW -- I really think we need a new version of Handsome Hunter, especially with Christmas cards coming up soon.

I think we need another grey a pale grey!

I wondered about turquoise it's a really popular color in fashion right now... I'd be happy for another pink too, just not light or bright an inbetweeny color!

What about a pale yellow all the yellow's we have are quite bright?

I just can't wait!

I'm excited too...although sometimes I DON'T want a color I think we really need to be an in color because I know it's doomed from the beginning, kwim? Since I know it will retire in two years. BUT I am happy we get them for two now and not one! LOL....I'm nuts I know!

Anyway, I thought about turquoise but it's been in for a few years now and we had Bermuda Bay two years ago so I don't look for one this year...although if we DO get a lime green that would look fab. I really do think we will get a lime...I'd bet money on it if I had any, lol! And I do miss barely banana so a pale yellow would be great too. I LOVE pink but I hope we don't get yet ANOTHER! We have so many!

Anyway, just my thoughts and rambling...isn't it fun to speculate? ALMOST as fun as finally seeing the stuff!!!! Only a little over a week for me now....it's going to be a loooong week!!!!
