Here's some more Target cube info, if you can stand it. I just got 10 of these and redid my whole craft room. Thanks to Tara for checking the BG issue for me. I have always wanted my stuff accessible but out of sight. These were just what I needed. Here's some of the things I did with mine.

4drawer cube: Each cube holds 15 BG stamps, 36 CDs for all my unmounteds, Card fronts and regular card envies.

Paper cube: The CH/SU vertical file folders fit. I also put my 8.5x11 paper in magazine holders and found that there is enough room for SU refill boxes behind the mag holders.

Filer cube: Holds my 22+ SU alphabet sets, including the jumbo headline/letterpress box. I bought an extra for my still mounted current sets. Yes, some will have to lose their wood cause 20some sets is not gonna get it.

3 Drawer Cube: Each drawer holds 35reg/20jumbo wheels. I have 1 cube for punches, 1 for wheels, & 1 for EP, embellies, adhesives & my odd stuff (laminator, glue gun, crimper, etc.)

Oh, and yes they do STINK!!!! But after 3 days they are starting to air out.

The 4 drawer cube holds 15 BG, 36 CDs per drawer!!!! That's 60 BGs & 144 CDs per cube.

Default Stampin' Rooms

I am so jealous of you all! I just turned our dining room - that we don't use, into my craft/computer room this weekend. I have all my supplies in baskets and totes on the shelves of my computer desk, and a few tables that I have placed in there. I am so jealous of you all with your Target Cubes and storage space!

But at least I now have a space to do my cards and scrapbooking at, and don't have to stand out at the kitchen counter! And I am right in the middle of the house, so I can supervise the children while they play, wherever that may be. The only downside is that my husband can't see me while he's watching tv at night, it's only the next room over, but there is a wall between the living room and dining room, but he'll have to get over that!

You all have very nice rooms, I have been looking at all of those in the gallery to get some inspiration. They are all very beautiful spaces!!

Go to your local printers shops and ask if they have left over 2006 calenders for give away. Some have these and they are great for a pad to stamp on.

Rental car companies have lots of those too.... They love to give those out also.

I'm so glad that I cound this thread. I need to find some ideas for organization. Those cubes are great, but our Target is sooooo far away.

Does anyone know the company's name or a website (other than Target) for these cubes and such? I want to find a list of all that they make to go with this system because I want them ALL!

just in case anyone wants to know. my local target has these but so does my local scrap store at the same price and they have a better selection. Now to decide which ones to get for my space they are callsed store in style by crop in style (modular home storage)

I made a desk from these. My stamp room is a.k.a. our guest bedroom and because we need to leave enough space for the futon to pull out, I didn't have space for the desk to be two-cubes deep.

I took some pictures of the desk, after a lot of cleaning and reorganizing. ;)

I am in the process of converting oldest DD's bedroom back into my craft room as she is in her last semester of college and plans to move out upon graduation. I am using her desk for my computer and much of my working stuff for the moment. Just moved in an antique dining room table, but have to reassemble it - had to be taken apart to move it through the house and through the door. That will become the real work space and storage for the everyday working stuff - markers, cutter, adhesives, box of scrap pepers, cuttlebug etc. I think I will add one leaf to it. One wall is floor to ceiling shelves. These hold stamp sets, books, magazines, 12 x 12 paper, ribbon, CB dies and embossing folders, sizzix dies, photo albums etc etc (as well as a lot of DD's stuiff still... I have a 2 drawer filing cabinet for 8 1/2 x 11 paper. I also have some Iris carts for punches and other stuff; maybe these will either stack or fit under the table, not sure now. Can't wait until it is done enough to take and post some pictures to share!

Just wanted to let you know that Target's cubes are not the same as the Store in Style brand. The SIS brand are larger cubes. When you see them in the box, they look a like, but they are not the same size.
