Stampers Anonymous

Anyone know where i can find a stampers/scrappers anonymous group. Maybe I should say I have OSSBD or Obsessive Stampers Scrappers Buyer Disorder. This means I get obsessive with buying scrapping supplies.

I don't know why but I feel better buying than creating at times because when I'm in Joann's or Michael's and see the possibilities I usually buy the supplies even though I have more than I can use in a lifetime.

I just visited Big Lots and spent 63.00, Ritz Camera another 30 or so, here and there more money and yet I only use the product one or twice before tossing it in storage boxes.

I love to create but I'm not creating enough, fast enough to even see the supplies go away. I really get a thrill out of shopping more than anything and sometimes it hurts when I go into Joann's and can't find a thing I need. It even depresses me at this point because I have to leave empty handed.

Well just wanted to get that off my chest. Any suggestions on helping me not have to buy so much would be greatly appreciated. Maybe if I give up my debit/credit cards I can save myself. But then that would jeapordize my sanity. LOL.

Sorry, no suggestions here! But spending time on SCS makes it worse too! Beware! LOL!

I get obsessive with stamp companies in phases. Right now it is JustRite Stamps! OMG! I have ordered so many things from them in the past two months. I think I bought almost everything from the new spring release and that is on clearance. But I have been using them alot lately so I guess that is a positive note.

Yeah, spending time here is bad, bad, bad...

I was spending so much I opened my own store! I thought that would "cure" me and at least I'd make a little money! Hah!

you know which group helped me was the stamp to spend thread, I just cant seem to find the thread right now. sorry
But its like you awared yourself $1 for every card you make and $5 for every layout you make, so you cannot spend more until you make more stuff ;)

No ideas towards the OPs question but it sure is funny that I spent the last couple of hours trying to find the Stamp to Spend thread (posted and brought it to the top) and then go looking at new threads and found this.
