I live in the Akron/Clevelend, Ohio area and am kind of new to the stamping thing (I have a lot of stuff, but don't do it a lot, finding time is my problem). I interested in finding demos or other stampers in the area to maybe joing a stamp club, swap, etc.
I am absolutely hooked on this website but unfortunately also work full-time and do too much surfing while at work!
Hi! I'm in North Royalton and have been stamping since Jan. of this year. I hope you already have visited Archiver's in Fairlawn and Hollo's in Brunswick...great stores for ideas and supplies (besides the normal Michael's and Joann's). I joined a stamp club (off for the summer) and it has really helped me with new techniques. Hope you find some quality time for your new wonderful hobby!
Where in the Akron/Cleveland area do you live?? I live in Medina very close to Route 71/Route 18. Also not far from Medina Hospital. I just joined SU as a demo but am still anxiously awaiting for my demo # and kit. Ditto about Hollo's and Archiver's, they are great stores.
I am currently in a SU stamp club and in another one where we just get together once a month and 2-3 people make a card and share a new technique and then the others get to make those cards. We meet at St. Matthew's Church in Medina. PM me if you are interested in learning more.

Hi,
I'm not from the area, far from it actually, southern Ontario, but I will be passing by there on the way to Springfield for the Scout nationals next month with my DH.
Is the Archiver's store as cool as it seems? I'm thinking of a detour, but not sure if it would be worth it.
Any thoughts?

It IS worth going to. They have sooo much stuff to look at and they also have pretty good deals on things. I think it would be worth it just to see what it was like. In fact, I may go today to look around. Haven't been there for a while. It is about 25 minutes from my house in Medina to Montrose/Fairlawn.
I live in Alliance, Ohio. My upline Demo lives in Northfield Center. Maybe it would be possible for you to join our group. I could ask my upline if you want.
I also work a full-time job and check out this site while I'm at work.
Saw this post about Ohio and had to respond. I live in Cleveland (Parma) and I just love going to all those same stores. I got hooked on Hollo's before I became a demo and still go there for paper. I will actually be going to Archiver's next week with a friend from Virginia Beach who will be in town. Can't wait to see her face when she walks in. Definite picture moment. Great to hear from fellow Ohioans. Glad to know I'm not the only one.
