OMG! not a hat!!! Am I going to have to slump down in the seat so no one can see me riding with you??? Morrie said that if we called ahead she would be waiting at the Sparta exit with Mimosa's in to-go cups for us. We could just cruise up the ramp - pick up our cups - cruise back on to interstate - what a friend!!!!

Going to bed now. Have to make sure the "shopping MoJo" is well rested for tomorrow. "Twas the night before Stampaway and all through the house, no stamps occurred, not even a pounce....While visions of rubber stamps danced in my head..."
Wish I could go to bed. I have to take Scottie for a walk now! Then I'll check back and then go to bed. I don't think I'll make Jen ride in the trunk.. ;)
7 hrs and 10 mins until we pull out the drive! I know, I should be in bed... making one last check of everything...money??? check! Camera??? check! Purple ribbon??? NOOOOOO!! Well I guess I know what I gotta go do!!! See ya'll in a few!!! ;)
Add Magenta to your vender list...there was some sort of 'typo' and they weren't included on the site, the flyers, or booklet. So, I shopped and shopped and at 1045 found MAGENTA upstairs across from Marcos. Bummer that two of the stamps I wanted were already SOLD OUT and it's only Friday night..... (reason I always went to that booth first!!) Oh welll, everyone have fun... I ordered my SCS shirt but it didn't arrive in time for this show :(

Whew! What a day! I can't believe I'm the first one here. I am on total stamp overload. I do not EVEN want to add up how much money I spent. I made a mistake and took the credit card with me after all, and that's in addition to the cash I spent and I used my debit card some. DH was shocked and amazed at my overflowing bag. I did major damage with these vendors:
Northwoods, G-Rated Rubber Stamps, Pollys Pals (is that right?), and I also bought from Denami, Outlines, Judikins and Magenta. I was amazed at how beautiful the artwork was at Northwoods. I bought a ton of stamps and I will be challenged to make them look as beautiful as they do.
I mostly bought stamps today since I feel pretty well stocked on supplies. But I did finally get some Eclipse tape, more EZ Mount and assorted embossing powder and glitter from Sparkle n Sprinkle.
Hey all! I just had to rest. We went to lunch and then hit Archivers before going home. Glad I live close by. I mostly bought stamps at Stampaway for my church card ministry. I found some great ones at Stamp La Jolla, Morning Star, and a couple of just wanteds at Rubber Nature Art Stamps. Unfortunately I kept spending at Archivers on punches that I debated over at Stampaway and ended up getting (but I did use my 30% off coupon), Amuse heat and stick, and Basic Grey and shimmer papers. And I topped it all off with a big choclate dessert at MacAllisters. Definitely a fun day! It was great getting to meet some of you!!
I think i spent the least out of everyone!! Only bought one stamp (did get a free one at Northwoods (love there stuff but was on too tight of a budget to buy anything there this year! next year for sure!!) just for being in their ever so crowded area!!). Gary did have ATG tape refills so I grabbed some of those and some of his clearence ink and glitter. Plus a Lattice Folds template. That was it!!
I uploaded a picture of a few of us in my gallery. It was fun to met everyone and if you hung around with BadSherry, you got noticed too ;) lol
I was there but didn't meet anyone. I would love to meet you all next year. I bought several fun things. Some clear stamps from Impression Obsession that I just LOVE. I had never heard of them but a couple ladies said they were the best. Two small stamps and aged tags from Artful Illusions. From Gary Burlin Stickles glitter (only $2!) and Adirondack stamp pads (only $2.50!), easy mount and glossy card stock (which I have never used before). And some very cool jewelry type items from Invoke. Oh, also 3 small stamps from Rubber Stamp Tapestry. Many of their stamps are mounted on dowel rods that are about 2.5 inches long. Very unique concept.
Now I MUST go on a strict spending diet! At least I have lots to play with.
WOO HOO what a fabulous day! Shopped til I dropped but not nearly as hard on the wallet as Stampfest Orlando. Loved meeting up with Barb, Jen, Amber and Dawn! Met some others that I didn't really know and had the great privilege of running into Trish from my Cincinatti trip. If everyone wasn't so tired, we would probably still be sitting at Cracker Barrel. Jeanne you were greatly missed!!!!!!!

What a wonderful day. It was like going to 49 stamp stores in 1 day - mind boggling. DH could not believe that I actually came home with unspent $$$, but after awhile I just couldn't get my shopping priorities straight - I wanted everything. It was so nice to meet all of you, Jen, Barb, Dawn & Amber. Have now finished the 2 sets of cards I was working on so now I can play with all my new toys. Yippee!
I didn't see any purple ribbons. I definitely spent the least out of anyone. I bought 2 Stickles ($1.95 each) and a Sakura glue pen ($2.50). It was a pretty fun experience, though. A girlfriend and I drove down to check it out. We got there just after nine and only stayed 'til noon-ish.
Funny story, my hubby and I were driving up I-675 to meet some friends for dinner around 5:30 and we passed a car and I recognized the driver from seeing her at Stampaway and she still had her blue bracelet on. Hubby wasn't as excited about the "small world" experience as I was.

Hey ladies!! First chance I've had to check in on this thread. I really had a blast! It was so great getting to meet you gals! I'm so glad we took the time to grab a bite afterwards! I had more fun there than at the stamp convention (almost! ;) ). I did pretty good on my spending too. I had plenty of cash left.. but then I guess I could've bought something other that CUTE stuff!! ;)
