My daughter recently moved to Ohio she is a bit north west of Dayton. Any good shops around there? I hoped we could check them out together when I go down to visit. She is a new to stamping. But I think I got her hooked. She will be at the shoebox swap in Dayton on March 12th. I know she can't wait to learn more about stamping and hopefully make some friends. That's always the hardest part of moving.
Sorry I can't help, I'm in Toledo, which is about 1.5 hours from Cleveland. If you want to drive out here, I'm sure I could show you some great places!
As for Dayton, I didn't stamp when I lived there, so again I'm no help. However, I'm SURE there are Dayton stampers on SCS, and they'll show up soon to tell you where to go!
There is a really cool stamp store in Zoar Ohio. That is about 1hr1/2 to 2 hours away. If you ever get the chance stop. It is called the 1860 Stamp Pad. It is in a historic old home and is owned by a retired artist and she is great! You can look up the address on the internet and she lets camera in so you can take pics! She is only open on Friday and Saturday from 1-6pm.

There is a stamp store in Tipp City called Monica's Creative Stamping. Cute little store. She also has classes on certain nights.
What about the rubber room in Medina? It's problay 30 mins south of CLeveland. It sounds like fun.
Jennie
I think the Rubber Room closed. I tried to stop there in the fall when I was out that way and the place was empty. The sign on the door just said to visit them on the web....no forwarding address.

If you're around Dayton and don't mind driving an hour + to Cincy, try Archivers in Mason (huge scrapbooking/stamping store) or Stamp Your Art Out in Montgomery-- it's one of the best stamp stores in the country.

There is another store in Medina, I'm not sure if it's stamp or scrapbooking it's called Crop Paper Scissors, their website is www.crop-paper-scissors.com Lakewood also has one called Preserving Tomorrow's Memories, their website is www.PTMemories.com. I am 10 minutes south of Cedar Point if you come this far there is one in a tiny town called Willard. Nice little shop my aunt, by marriage, owns it. Just to give you some ideas.
