I say we start a new thread. It will give all of us a fresh start. I was doing so good last year with making lots of cards each month. (I can't believe I made 500 cards. I will admit LOTS of them were simple one layer cards.) We just bought a home so now I have a space dedicated to stamping, which beats dragging everything into the living room. And I'll have some time off with the baby, but I'm not sure how much time I'll have then.

Congratulations on the new home (and stamping space)!!! Can you PM me when you start a new thread? I don't know what happened but with the move and virus on our our computer I can't get it to update me with emails in my inbox. I'd really appreciate it!
How are you doing with the pregnancy? Do you know what you are having or are you going to wait?
My daughter's having a lil' boy, naming him Wylie. She's 32 weeks. I can't believe how fast the time has been going!
I love the idea of starting over as well. I know that I haven't updated in ages. I've made cards, and spent money, and done lots of exercise. I'm in for another year!
Me too!!! I like this idea of keeping track. There are some months that I'm dry and don't do anything then, I go bizerk and spend way too much and still don't do anything! For example...I never made my Christmas cards...gasp!

Well, here I am! I made this post last year and here I am again! I think I need help...perhaps professional help. I liken myself to Charlie Brown sitting at Lucy's psych stand!
Once more I didn't make my Christmas cards and I didn't buy any either! Yikes...I think I've been kicked off of everyone's mail list! LOL!!! But I did make a really great Thanksgiving coaster photo book for my family! Actually I made 16 of them! They are almost ready to mail so maybe I'm not so bad afterall!
I am game for starting over again in the new year...and am really going to try to do a better job of things.

I know what you mean. I joined a bunch of card swaps, thinking it would help, but nope - 2 emergency trips to the craft stores to get supplies. Plus, I'm going through mono adhesive like it's water! I don't even try to track spending on stuff like that (thank goodness!) or postage - think how far in the hole I'd be if I did - shudder!
rather than do the swaps, try doing the challenges. So many folks have a weekly challenge...you could use it to build your card collection and use up the supplies without going over board.

OK - I'm game - we have to do this again - cards made - a lot, weight lost - yeah right!, exercise - well more than the pounds lost and regained... Chocolate eaten everyday!
Now - new year and new challenge. I agree - new thread for 2009 - a new beginning for all of us!
BTW - HAPPY HOLIDAYS!
