Default Which Stamp Set would you buy?

I am preparing my order out of the new SU catalog (sold some retired stuff so I'm ready for new)... and I'm mostly getting accessories. But there are several new stamp sets I really like. So my question is this:

If you could only buy one stamp set in the next 3 months or so, which one would it be and why?

I'm thinking of gettin "City of David" as a nice Christmas set. But to pick only one? I dunno, that'd be hard. Good luck!!!

Too hard. I can't (ummm...and I didn't) pick just one

Some of my favorites from the new catty are:

Still Life Stems
Ladybuds
Serene Sunflower
Be Happy
Voila

I am ordering Blossoms Abound because I have seen so many beautiful cards made with this set.

ONE???? Are you NUTS?????

Just kidding. It would depend on what I was planning to do in the next three months. if I wanted to start my Christmas cards, it would be City of David (I;m planning to emboss it in silver on navy!!). If I wanted to do fall stuff I would get the Thanksgiving one out of the Holiday Mini when it opens. If I wanted to make the most of an all-around floral, it would be Blossoms Abound. Right now I am heavy into sayings sets, so I am going to get Friendship Flowers as I love those quotes.

Default Wild Rose

This is the first set on my list with the matching paper.

I love this set.

I would make sure I got whatever I wanted out of the Summer Mini. The other stuff will be around for a while longer yet ;)

Polkadot Posies was high on my list!

Looks Like Spring - if I didn't already have it. You can't make a bad card with that set.

Right now - it would have to be Polka-dot Posies or Sassy Stems.

PAISLEY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ok so maybe that doesn't count as a "set" but that was my MUST HAVE FIRST ORDER....and I also ordered Happy Everything...cause you can make an old set look new when you add a new BG and a New Sentiment!

I have to agree with Wild Rose - love that! If I could only have one set, I'd look in the gallery and "research" my favorite choices. I'd choose the one with the most cards made that I love. Plus, the more cards there are for a set, the easier it is to work with that set and come up with new fabulous ideas!

thanks to all those who have already posted...

Just to clarify I have over 80 sets already (after I weeded out my retired ones that I'm NOT keeping) and want to make better use of what I already have, but I have that addiction to new stamps, like many here - and want new ones... (LOL)

However, I am trying to be disciplined and only buy one new set that will give me lots of wonderful options...

So I'd love to see more suggestions - keep 'em coming please!

If you're looking for lots of options, I'd suggest "Be Happy" on page 77. I believe that was one given away at convention so there are quite a few samples in the gallery already. I like the many different types of cards that can be made, and the fact that some would make great scrapbooking elements. Also the "Enjoy" stamp would fit the Tag Punch. I just think it's a cute set with lots of options.

I'm having a lot of fun with Seeing Spots and Little Pieces. Bugs and kisses and Stinkin Cute are just begging for stamping, and if you haven't ordered Unfrogettable, I would!! I didn't like it the first time around, but bought it when the new catty came out and NOW I'm obsessed with that little "hopping" guy!! Guess it depends on your style, I tend to go for the "cutesy" stamps of animals and such and not so much for the flowers and decorative stamps. I'll end up buying those next order though!! Isn't that the way it goes??? Shelly

I would say, Artfully Asian, Blossoms Abound, or Serene Sunflower. Any or all.

I haven't ordered yet, so I need to go back and look at some of your suggestions. I know I am going to start with Mixed Bouquet, but I guess a lot of people have that already. I also want to get the new colors. I can be patient.

I like the new spotty one, Seeing Spots I think it is called. I had an order I was going to place from the new catty (unfortunately that order had to be put on hold indefinitely :( ) and from all the sets I have on my wishlist, Seeing spots was the only one to make it onto my absolute must-have shortlist.

Hmmmmm, I guess a Christmas stamp.
I don't anything between now and then except bdays, weddings, and babies, so a Christmas stamp set. Which one... hmmm, kind of tough.

For versatility...Bodacious Bouquet or Be Happy. You could do a ton with either. Be Happy could be used for cards & scrapping like someone else mentioned.

picking just one is very hard. I probably would concentrate on the summer mini first. My first choice would be polka-dot posies. In the big catalog I would get sweet shapes. I just love that set.
