Default stamp set suggestions

Hi.
I need to pick my free SAB sets and would like some suggestions....PLEASE!! I earned 2 free stamp sets from the catalog and am trying to pick ones that would be the most versatile. Any suggestions?? I don't have many male sets or vintage sets. I am also "toying" around with getting Everyday Flexible Phrases but not sure either. What do you think??
Thanks
Donna

My most favorite is Paint Prints. I just LOVE it! I also think Lexicon of Love is very versitile. The one set I didn't get is Garden Collage, I didn't think I would ever use it. Now I've seen some of the cards people on SCS have made with this set and I wish I had gotten it. I would just encourage you to look them up in the gallery and see which is more your style! Good luck

Default some of my faves

I bought everyday flexible phrases and when it arrived I determined there was NO WAY Iwas mounting that bad boy, call me whatever, but NO WAY. SOme of my faves for versatility are:

Farm Fresh
Travels Abroad
Parisian Plaza
A Greeting for All Reasons
All Year Cheers
In the Wild.

Congratualtions or your earnings, Good JOB!!!

I would definitely go with Everyday Flexible Phrases because it's so darn expensive and very useful.

I am planning to wait until the retired list comes out to decide. But a good way to help decide is to write down all the sets you want, including their prices, and then mark off the less expensive ones. Get the highest price set as your freebie! Alpha sets are a good choice.

Everyday Flexible Phrases FOR SURE!!! You will use it so much.

The other one that I would go for are (for the "man") would be Classic Convertables or Coast to Coast or Thinking of Father...

BUT that being said...WAIT until the retired list comes out...I know it is hard to be patient but jeez...SU! did us all a huge favor this your by allowing us to wait to order free sets after the list is here...patience grasshopper...

Everyday Flexible Phrases is that set that comes in handy for so many different things (I love it for little tags). It is a pain to mount, which is why it took me forever (and three separate sessions), but I'm so glad I finally did it. I actually mounted some of the stamps as I needed them, and then would do a few extra just for good measure. I never would have been able to do it in a single sitting!!

Go for versatility--check out the gallery and see which sets have the most entries. I tend to think that those are the ones people use most often, so they will probably be the most versatile.

Good luck!

I love my Everyday Flexible Phrases and so glad I got it with my starter kit!! I use it quite a bit now. I just posted a couple of cards in my gallery using it and so happy with the way they turned out. I also use it to stamp ribbon and give it that extra special touch!!

I'm getting 2 sets also.
I'm getting EDFF, I'm still not sure on the 2nd one. someone suggested an upper and lower alphabet.
I'm going to wait until the retirement list comes out. Last year I got my free set and it was retired a few months later. I used it for a few workshops and haven't touched it since. (not that I don't love it, just can't demo w/it)

If it doesn't retire, Botanicals is a good gender-neutral set, and it's pretty pricey, too.

I have Everyday Flexible Phrases and have yet to use it. My absolute favorite set is Watercolor Garden II. Just ask anyone who comes to my stamp camps and they will tell you that I just LOVE that set. I also like Sketch an Event.
