I don't really stamp with anybody nearby, so I don't know what everybody else has.
Have you checked the PTI messageboards? You may be able to find it there.
You should stop at one of our Archiver's meetups (next one is tomorrow/Tuesday at 6), or one of the Saturday crops (noon to midnight on the west side of Madison, near Michaels and Archivers) - there's one the 21-22 weekend for the entire weekend.
I've always wanted Wild Wild West and could kick myself in the butt..for not ordering it when it was available........I've seen it go for over $200.00 on ebay........wowsiers!!!
I have this set & have been offered quite a bit for it as well. it is INSANE!! If you need some stamped images let me know!!

I've wanted SU's Girl Power since my daughter has been in Girl Scouts (4 years now), but I refuse to pay $50 for it. I do have Scouts At Play, though, and my son is a Boy Scout.
I have this also!! Let me know if you would like some stamped images!! I would sell for a decent price, but my 2 daughters are still in scouts

I THINK that I have this one! If I can make sure all the stamps are in the set (mine end up in a bucket lol) I would be willing to sell at a reasonable price. Let me look.
I have a TON of stamp sets (300+) most of which are retired. I havent purchased a new stamp set since 2006! I found 22 unmounted sets recently lol

I really want just the coffee beans stamp from one of the Latte sets and just the Chocolate chip stamp from an old chocolate set. I don't want all the other stamps that come with the set! LOL
I would mind having these either. ;) I have been eyeballing the Under the Stars and the skeeter roller for the last 3 SU catty's, but have yet to purchase it. It is cute, but DO I REALLLY NEED it???? KWIM??

Please send a PM and hopefully my budget lets me buy it (budgets are the reason my wishlist is looooong).
Well Scripted. Every time I see it used, I kick myself for not getting it. I just like the whimsical look of it. Of course, it usually costs a fortune in the BST forum!
I am a determined and focused person when it comes to this hobby. Any set I always wanted, I always found a way to have.
My "always wanted" never lasts very long.
That's pretty much how I am. I finally found a PSX stamp after looking for it for years. That really was the last stamp on my have to have list. Although I forgot to order from the spring mini and now that I have looked up Nature Walk on EBay I can see why others would want it to be in the new catty coming out. That's a really pretty set.

I would love to have this set and I keep hoping that an SU demo who has this stuffed in a cabinet somewhere (and forgot all about it) will find it one day and sell it at a reasonable price.
Like someone else said - I'm not looking to pay off someone's mortage just to get a stamp I crave (and don't need). lol
Lovely As a Tree - I'm glad I did finally break down and order this one. I just love the tall pine and the big fluffy tree. (magnolia?? maybe?)
SU Like it a Latte.....
I just started stamping after that mini came out and I am with the rest of you on not paying more than it originally cost. Also I just got done unmounting all my wood mount SU sets that I dont plan to get rid of due to space issues and I hate it when I pay outrageous shipping costs just to pay more to unmount it ugh!! Maybe I will win the lottery some day
Oh gosh, I have a holy grail set, too. I'm pretty sure it was by Postmodern Design, and it was an alphabet set on a spindle. It was one of those that has a letter on the sides of the block, and then each block fits on the spindle for storage. The font is a ransom font where the letters are all different and funky.
I know there are a million other ransom alphabets out there, but this set was THE ONE. I've scoured eBay for it for years and have never even seen it listed. The last time I saw it was in store, circa 2003. Oh, how I kick myself!
I've always loved knobbly gnomes and was talked out of buying it in the caddy by a friend. Wish I hadn't listened. Still think it's cute and it's on the top of my wishlist. I've stalked it from time to time and it's gone too high on ebay the times I've searched. Someday...
Have you checked the PTI messageboards? You may be able to find it there.
You are a genius. I went to the PTI boards and within a couple of days made contact with a very nice lady who was willing to sell hers. The transaction went off without a hitch, and I have that stamp set right now.
Now, do you have any tips on getting my oldest child to tie his shoes?
Well I wanted the medallion stamp for a long time and then I finally got it .... have had it for 6 months now and guess what ???? ....... have never used it. Be careful what you wish for!
YES, I hear you! I've wanted this for quite awhile, broke down and bought it. I received it last week and have yet to ink it. I blame the HEAT. Another day of 100+ heat index has made my stamping mojo disappear. I have looked at some beautiful cards made with this stamp in the gallery and maybe that will help.
So I started reading this thread with just Knobbly Gnomes on my list, but now I'd like to add exotic birds, wild west, fire brigade and both scouts sets. Yikes! Problem is, I'm one of those "If I want it, I'll eventually break down and buy it" types. lol
I don't know so much about sets I have always wanted but I do know there are sets that I won't let go of... Wonderful Wings, Knobbly Gnomes, Flaky Friends....these sets just make me happy!

ctmh has a gnome set in its new catalog that is the closest substitute that I've found. I wish it had more gnomes in it but it does have a cute gnome house. I know I'll be ordering this one to help hold me over until I get my hands on the knobblys!
I've been hunting and hunting for old SU Jewish stamps for my neighbor. They were discontinued quickly, probably because they didn't sell all that well, and, probably for the same reason, never seem to come on the second hand market.
For me it was Wonderful Wings. I saw a beautiful card in one of the galleries using the monarch stamp, and I fell in love. Being a newcomer to SU, I had to do some research to find out what set it was from. After months of stalking ebay, I finally managed to score a new set, not mounted yet, at a very good price. My other one was Well Scripted. I fell in love with it when I used one of the stamps at my Demo's workshop. After months of stalking ebay, I broke down and paid more than I'd like to admit for one.
I discovered SU Oct 2010, so the 2010 Holiday Mini was my first mini. I didn't really know how SU's catalog system worked at the time, so I didn't order what I wanted them, not knowing it might not be available later. Thankfully, the sets I wanted from that mini ended up in the 2011-2012 IBC.
I'd like to say there are any sets in the current Holiday Mini that I am as excited about, but I cannot. There are a few sets I want and will get, but not enough to stalk ebay for. On a good note, there are enough new sets in the IBC that I am excited about, that I'll manage just fine.

you need to list your unwanted ones on the b/s/t thread

Hope you don't mind if I answered you - your number is 92579
Like madstamper33 said above (maybe you didn't see her post)- if you hover your curser over your name then look at the bottom left corner of your screen your number will appear at the end of the web address. HTH

I'm not really sure. Honestly I didn't even know we all had numbers until I was reading this thread. The only reason I can think of is when you would want to look for a certain gallery here on splitcoast. For example- the link to my gallery is (I had to put a space between the http and the : so that you could see the link)
