Have you checked the PTI messageboards? You may be able to find it there.

You should stop at one of our Archiver's meetups (next one is tomorrow/Tuesday at 6), or one of the Saturday crops (noon to midnight on the west side of Madison, near Michaels and Archivers) - there's one the 21-22 weekend for the entire weekend.

Well Scripted. Every time I see it used, I kick myself for not getting it. I just like the whimsical look of it. Of course, it usually costs a fortune in the BST forum!

That's pretty much how I am. I finally found a PSX stamp after looking for it for years. That really was the last stamp on my have to have list. Although I forgot to order from the spring mini and now that I have looked up Nature Walk on EBay I can see why others would want it to be in the new catty coming out. That's a really pretty set.

Default Dream Catcher from Stampin Up

I would love to have this set and I keep hoping that an SU demo who has this stuffed in a cabinet somewhere (and forgot all about it) will find it one day and sell it at a reasonable price.

Like someone else said - I'm not looking to pay off someone's mortage just to get a stamp I crave (and don't need). lol

Lovely As a Tree - I'm glad I did finally break down and order this one. I just love the tall pine and the big fluffy tree. (magnolia?? maybe?)

SU Like it a Latte.....
I just started stamping after that mini came out and I am with the rest of you on not paying more than it originally cost. Also I just got done unmounting all my wood mount SU sets that I dont plan to get rid of due to space issues and I hate it when I pay outrageous shipping costs just to pay more to unmount it ugh!! Maybe I will win the lottery some day

Oh gosh, I have a holy grail set, too. I'm pretty sure it was by Postmodern Design, and it was an alphabet set on a spindle. It was one of those that has a letter on the sides of the block, and then each block fits on the spindle for storage. The font is a ransom font where the letters are all different and funky.

I know there are a million other ransom alphabets out there, but this set was THE ONE. I've scoured eBay for it for years and have never even seen it listed. The last time I saw it was in store, circa 2003. Oh, how I kick myself!

I've always loved knobbly gnomes and was talked out of buying it in the caddy by a friend. Wish I hadn't listened. Still think it's cute and it's on the top of my wishlist. I've stalked it from time to time and it's gone too high on ebay the times I've searched. Someday...

You are a genius. I went to the PTI boards and within a couple of days made contact with a very nice lady who was willing to sell hers. The transaction went off without a hitch, and I have that stamp set right now.

Now, do you have any tips on getting my oldest child to tie his shoes?

The one's I want are usually the level 3 hostess gifts. I'm sure when the new SU catty comes out I'll want them all.

YES, I hear you! I've wanted this for quite awhile, broke down and bought it. I received it last week and have yet to ink it. I blame the HEAT. Another day of 100+ heat index has made my stamping mojo disappear. I have looked at some beautiful cards made with this stamp in the gallery and maybe that will help.

So I started reading this thread with just Knobbly Gnomes on my list, but now I'd like to add exotic birds, wild west, fire brigade and both scouts sets. Yikes! Problem is, I'm one of those "If I want it, I'll eventually break down and buy it" types. lol

ctmh has a gnome set in its new catalog that is the closest substitute that I've found. I wish it had more gnomes in it but it does have a cute gnome house. I know I'll be ordering this one to help hold me over until I get my hands on the knobblys!

I've been hunting and hunting for old SU Jewish stamps for my neighbor. They were discontinued quickly, probably because they didn't sell all that well, and, probably for the same reason, never seem to come on the second hand market.

For me it was Wonderful Wings. I saw a beautiful card in one of the galleries using the monarch stamp, and I fell in love. Being a newcomer to SU, I had to do some research to find out what set it was from. After months of stalking ebay, I finally managed to score a new set, not mounted yet, at a very good price. My other one was Well Scripted. I fell in love with it when I used one of the stamps at my Demo's workshop. After months of stalking ebay, I broke down and paid more than I'd like to admit for one.

I discovered SU Oct 2010, so the 2010 Holiday Mini was my first mini. I didn't really know how SU's catalog system worked at the time, so I didn't order what I wanted them, not knowing it might not be available later. Thankfully, the sets I wanted from that mini ended up in the 2011-2012 IBC.

I'd like to say there are any sets in the current Holiday Mini that I am as excited about, but I cannot. There are a few sets I want and will get, but not enough to stalk ebay for. On a good note, there are enough new sets in the IBC that I am excited about, that I'll manage just fine.

Same here but if I go into a person's gallery the last part of the URL is the member number so I am Member # 26422.

I'm not really sure. Honestly I didn't even know we all had numbers until I was reading this thread. The only reason I can think of is when you would want to look for a certain gallery here on splitcoast. For example- the link to my gallery is (I had to put a space between the http and the : so that you could see the link)

http ://www.splitcoaststampers.com/gallery/showgallery.php?cat=500&ppuser=74015

but if I replace my number 74015 (within the link above) with your number 92579 it will take me directly to your gallery.

Personally, when I want to find a certain member's gallery I just type the user name into the search box.
