Default Stamp/Scrapbooks Stores in Florida

I'll be vacationing in the St. Pete's Beach/Clearwater, Florida area next month and would like to know of any stamp or scrapbook stores that anyone could recommend. Thanks in advance for your help!!!

There is a fabulous store in St. Petersburg....I went to when I was in Clearwater. It has a catchy name but I can't think of it off hand. Do you have a memory makers magazine? They have then in the back. Or look online in the yellow pages. This store was fabulous. If I find the name I will email you back.

WhimSoDoodle in St. Pete (they do have a web site by just using www. & .com on either side of their name) has some stamps, some stamping supplies but is 80% scrapbook supplies (I was just there last week).

All of the locals (I live about an hour away) are telling me that Ruban Rouge in Safety Harbor is HUGER and BETTER in the way of inventory (they also have a web site) but I don't know what their stamping inventory is like.

I tried to find Tamp-a-Stamp on Dale Mabry (Tampa) a few weeks ago but think that it must not be there any more... I'd love to find a good rubber stamp store in that area but I'm afraid that it may not exist.

Ruban Rouge is actually on Tampa Rd. in Palm Harbor. It's great, just like Whim-So-Doodle. Mostly scrapbooking; but lots of neat stuff. Tamp-a-Stamp went out of business over a year ago. They just sell their templates online now.

Wilde-Ideas is a stamp store in downtown Clearwater. They've been open for a year now. They have lots to choose from. www.wilde-ideas.com.

If you're looking for funky fibers, there's a knitting store on 19 in Palm Harbor. She carries some great stuff that she sells just a few yards for $1-$2. Uncommon Threads - it's in the Outback Plaza.

HTH,
Nancy
