Default stamp pad storage

http://www.kingdom.com/long-desc.asp?pn=LW100NF

I saw this on another site

do you think it looks like it could hold SU stamp pads?
(if so, the price is AWESOME !)

I'm not sure & I can't find any old cassette boxes to compare with stamp pads. Thanks

I don't think it's deep enough. JMHO.

I would have to agree with Tinnalee. Doesn't look deep enough. I would find out the depth of the shelves first.

I just measured one of my SU pads, they're 3 1/2 inches wide and 4 1/2 inches long - I can't find any cassette tapes so I couldn't measure one, but going by memory I'm afraid SU pads would fall out easily :(

This says that the depth on it is 3" if that helps anyone make an easier decision. This would be great for those of us that have the old style ink pads. I just wonder how much the shipping on this would be.

I have the Kingdom Tapes cassette holder, which I actually got for my Non-SU pad storage (with mixed results), but when I saw this thread I decided to try a SU pad in it just for the heck of it and I found that if you put it in with the label end facing you, it holds! Even though it's not very deep, it's a tight enough fit that it stays put. I never would have even thought to try them because they just look too big! So, thanks for asking the question, Sandybeach!!! Linda

I have one of the cassette holders - actually looks exactly like the one on that site and am thrilled to say that all of my SU pads fit beautifully in it
with the names showing out they stick out just a little bit but don't fall out at all. I am thrilled with results and have it hanging on wall in my craft room. A fellow stamper came by last week and was going to check out some thrift stores to see if she could pick one up there as it seems cassettes are a thing of the past.

So if it is 3" deep and our pads are 4 1/2" long, it seems as though the ends would stick our 1 1/2 inches. Is this what you guys are finding..... but that it doesn't matter since they fit snug? Just wondering. I have a fellowes spinner but may give that to a friend and get this for my craft pads, stazon, and whatever else.

Yes, that's correct. They do stick out quite a ways but the fit is tight enough that they hold just fine. Linda

I too would love it if someone could post a picture with their inks in it. Do they sell one any smaller than this??

I have one that is very similar, and it holds all my old style SU pads, the new style SU pads, even my Stazon and Spectrum pads fit in it! It is great! There is a picture of it in my gallery sitting on my stapming desk. It is in the background but very viewable.
