Where do I find a template for tracking all my stamps?
I have gone all thru the downloads and am using the spreadsheet for the colour families --great help, but I need a spreadsheet template for inventory of stamp sets.
Hmm I'm sure there are programs out there, but I just used Excel and put tabs at the bottom to say active, retired and willing to get rid of. It was quite the process but well worth it, now I just have to maintain it.
Here is a link to another thread. This is an excel file with everything listed in the 06-07 book. It's a great spreadsheet! I didn't create it, but use it often!!
Attached is an Excel worksheet I got from someone a few years ago and have updated as the new catty's come out. The retired sets are highlighted in orange-red. Also, as you track each set (or wheel) that are in your collection, the worksheet will total the number and value of all the sets. PM me if you have any questions.
HOLY COW.........that is soooo way too much information........lol That is so awesome for those that have been stampin with SU since way back. I'm still a newbie, of only 2+ years and only 10% includes my collection. But still I'm amazed, love anything that keeps things organized!!!! I will have to modify my own excel file to include some of those great features.
EXCEL is definitely my way to go. It's great for demonstrators to keep track of expenses, buys, sales, etc. If you already have it, why buy something else. Take advantage of it. JMO
