Default Sparkle

What is the best way to apply a little sparkle?
I am stamping something in shades of red - classic ink. I would like to add a little sparkle here and there, maybe with dazzling diamonds. I have tried this before with two way glue, and I end up with little globs, rather than the desired look.

Stickles! It is glue and fine glitter with a super thin applicator. Made by Ranger. Comes in tons of colors.

The Sakura Glue Pen works great with the DD. It just adds a touch of blue glue that dries clear. I use it just for my DD!

A little more time consuming but you could always use versamark and heat and stick powder!

Default Sparkle

Isn't it nice that there are so many options for adding sparkle. I use the Glue Pad by Tusinenko. You gently tap stamp onto glue pad. Press onto project surface. While glue is still wet apply glitter, chalk, pigment powder or leaf. Tap down gently for full adhesion. Tap off excess, using a soft brush if neccessary. Allow to dry. Drying time does vary depending on surface. This is a great product. Love it.

I like it with Roses in Winter especially. Use it on the third tier of the rose - middle of the rose and smallest - and add glitter or pearl ex. Great effect.

I'm a big fan of Stickles too, and it comes in tons of colors. It does take a bit of time to dry though. You could also try the Sakura glue pen.....it has a MUCH finer point than a two-way glue pen so you can control the glue much better.

Default Sakura Stardust pen

I love, love, love my new Sakura Stardust (Gelly Roll) pen. It's a clear gel pen with very, very fine glitter in it! Adds beautiful, subtle sparkle on any color of ink! Cost about $1.75 at LSS.

I love this idea! It is kind of what I was looking for - just a hint all over the flower. I had never heard of a glue pad before. I'll have to look for it.

I actually also just bought some stickles online, so I'll try playing around with that in the mean time.

Thank you, girls, for all of your great ideas!
