Tracey's expecting, so they're bringing in some new management to keep things running while Daven takes time off to tenderly care for the mother-to-be and the baby (or maybe babies?) when they come.

maybe the b is for BBBroke, that daven had taken the plunge and quit his day job and they were broke for a little while, but then they used their BBBBrains and figured out how to make it work, and BBBeate turned into a super hero named super BBBabe and had this awesome scheme to get us all addicted to BBBuying stamps and embelishments ect.
It's got to be something really big, don't you think?? I think all of that build-up and history must be leading up to something fairly dramatic. I can't wait to find out!!
I bet it's that SCS is going to go public and we'll be able to buy shares on the NYSE!
Or maybe they got a wealthy investor who wants them to form the LeAgue of Extraordinary Stamping Superheroes (LASSes for short) who go out and fight, um, bad things. That would explain JulieHRR's sudden departure, doncha think? ;) Every team of superheroes needs a great leader, after all!
Hmm...perhaps someone is buying out the Noltas and there will be a new owner!
This is my guess as well - another site I frequent craftster.org was "aquired" over by another company...NameMedia that runs online communities - from what I understand is they work with the "founders'...
so far I haven't really any difference in Craftster at all

Good for the owners here if it is so, but really not so sure it is good for the members. Certain things stayed the same at 2peas but other things like the image rights changed so I no longer post images over there. The new TOU says that 2Peas parent company can use your images in whatever way they choose without getting your permission.

Since I read the first installment, I've had a feeling that something major is about to happen. I wasn't sure what to think because I'm not familiar with the inner workings (the people or the tech stuff) but now that I've read this thread.... I'm seeing a big SOLD sign in my head!
Although, it would be great for those who worker so hard for all of us to enjoy this amazing site.... I will be bummed! I love this site as is!!!!

My guess is that they are going to open an on-line only store that will have items from all of the great partner businesses (or whatever they are called) - Crafty Secrets, GinaK, Bella Stamps, etc. so that we can choose to order items from lots of vendors w/out paying crazy shipping to all of them. I want an item or two from several of them - but refuse to pay high shipping for one little item, so don't order. Now if they were all available at one site, and I could order them all and pay a reasonable shipping fee for the total number of things I'd ordered, I'd be THRILLED!

I fear the worst (have been through a couple of buyouts elsewhere and it never went well) and hope for the best such as an online one stop store for all member companies.

Yeah and my husband's company had a buy out too and they let him go the day before 4th of July. Don't mention buyouts to me...:twisted: :twisted: :twisted:
Nnnooo I don't want Oprah to buy the site (HarpoStampers? HOS for short?), become a senator, and then lay everyone off the day before the long weekend!
