I have bribed myself today. I have to get some biz work done (for the real job). And I am totally dreading it. It is so monotonous. Uggh. So I have told myself that if I can work like mad I will earn a lunch from my fave place and stamping/scrapping this afternoon. I am hoping creativity sets in while I work. It seems to zap my creative energy when I have to do this stuff. So, got any great plans or projects to inspire?
If I get my work done early enough today, I'd really love to just stamp.
But, I probably won't; guilt over how messy the house is right now will consume me . . . so when I get work done, I'll start the 2nd shift (housework), and then, I'll never get to stamp today . . .
I know; I'm whining.
I need some cheese, I guess . . . :rolleyes:

No school all week and a hubby who took the week off, harde ha ha but keeps getting called in. ugh! He leaves on Sunday for 3 nights.. I'll get some scrapping sdone then for sure.. :}
even if I HAVE to make dinner at 4:30 and bedtime at 7 PM.
Then I won't answer the phone when he calls ten times a night :}
I was going to San Diego with him then changed my mind.. Didn't want to leave the kids so close to our trip to Hawaii. ;[
Oh well theres a light at the end somewhere right?

i got to sleep in a little- 2 hour delay~ freezing fog! then they closed school.
i will be leaving shortly to go over to stamp with my demo! she said she found an idea...on of all places SCS... she wants to try. and i will take very punny with me and make a decision on wether to seperate the words or not.
Gee, Michelle, you must live near us! LOL, I'm so ready for the kids to be back in school regular schedule!
I'm trying to make something with Noteworthy. It's such a cute set and I have so much trouble with it for some reason. So I'm determined to get something pretty out of it today or I'm sellin' it!
My two kids are on vacation this week as well. Surprisingly, I've been able to work on some cards for a RAK, for a swap, and even managed to start a scrapbook page! I think not having to deal with homework each night has helped. Plus, having to be home all day with them gives me some downtime to work on my stamping.
I have been working very hard these past couple weeks getting paperwork, childproofing etc finished so I can become an accredited dayhome and stay at home with my 9 month old daughter. I'm also taking an evening class in Early Childhood Education.
Tonight is my night off- Woohoo! The laundry and other chores will have to wait because tonight i'm going to play with my stamps! I need a break from all the other stuff and I deserve it
My plan is to use my inspirational quotes to make some lovely cards and send them to some of my girlfriends that I haven't seen in a while. I will also be designing 3 cards as part of a stamp camp i'm holding at the beginning of March.
been glued to CNN watching the Anna Nicole hearings!!!!I know...I need a life.....trying to get my brothers B-day card made....my creative juices are dried up!He's gonna be 46...so I'm using an Oldie Art Impression stamp.....and will probably do an Ole" Geezer theme!!! Well shoot....now Days Of Our Lives is coming on.......
I am waiting on delivery guys to bring my new bedroom furniture!! Now if they'd not give you a 3 hour window! ;)
I just know as soon as I sit down to start something, they'll show up. Murph is my shadow!
Kids are home from school this week so I hope to get some things done:
finishing touches on some layouts started at a crop last Friday
prep everything for a workshop Sunday
start on Easter cards
reorganize room occupied by two teen boys (YIKES!)

School was cancelled due to the fog, so I ended up recruiting friends to come over to keep my two DD's busy so I can stamp! I am making a criss cross card (love that one, will make some more), casing a card from Taylored
Expressions and then I'm going to play with my Cuttlebug. Life is good!
I have been going thru the technique challenges and making cards so I will Keep that up. its my DH games night tonight so when I get the kids to bed I will be able to play some more
I should be stamping now, but instead I am updating my blog (free printable ovals woohoo) and reading other's blogs... reading scs, emailing.... gotta get off the computer and stamp now before the mad evening rush begins!
DS #2 is home with strep & an ear infection, so I get to stay home too! So far we've been to the Dr. and Walmart, but hoping he'll go to sleep so I can play! I've had visions in my head of grand things (blush blossom, chocolate chip, and Irridescent Ice)...but who knows? Oh, and I have to go to the post office too. =D
I am so frustrated! I am not even a fourth of the way through my work. And I didn't get lunch. I am glad my kids are in school today, no fog issues here! It sounds like not many of you are getting to do projects though. So, I won't feel too bad for myself. ;) I'll keep plugging away!
Maybe some stamping in my future tonight. I worked the book fair at my kids school this morning. I went grocery shopping, worked out, vacuumed, baked brownies, did dishes (and sliced my finger on a broken glass....ugh), placed two SU orders (yeah) and now am finally catching up on the forums. Mom and Dad are coming for dinner. Dad is taking DS to Taekwondo....that means Mom, DD and I can stamp for a while. I really need to finish a swap that I am in. Do you think DH will mind the three girls stamping in the basement? Nope!!!
