Default So how was San Marcos? CKC

I almost went but I figure 1 CKC a year is more than enough. I do want to hear about the fun that you had.

Loved the addition of the camera class I took! And I thought the expo was better this year.

it sucked! i don't know about the classes, but the shopping sucked. real bad. none of the big companies were there, except tattered angels. no provo, no ek, no k&co. just a bunch of small 'no name' companies and most of them just sold premade layouts. my girlfriend and i were done shopping in a lil over an hour. i prolly will not go to the next one, rather wait for the one in arlington or houston.
we were really bummed, i could have just went to archiver's

That class was FANTASTIC!!

And I spent wayyyy too much. I don't want to see my credit card bills next month!

I was shocked at how much amazing product we got in the classes - (I took a ton of classes) I have so much pretty paper and embellishments it's just scary.

We saw a bunch of great demos too of products I've never used.

I had fun this year. Unfortunately I didn't get to decide to go until the day of, as things happened this year, so I only went for the show and didn't take any classes this time. The show was good though. I got some great copics for $4 (regular one, ciaos were $3) and some spellbinders for a total of $54 for 4 sets of full size ones the $25 or $30 at Hobby Lobby ones. I got a teddy bear maker one on clearance for $8; It has like 4 bodies and 4 heads? or was it three? I have only played with it once so far. Didn't get to spend a lot of time as I was in a hurry, but the show seemed nice when I was there. It didn't take long to spend $$ and I don't feel like anything I got was overpriced, everything I got was a nice price.
