Hi!

I've never done one with a CD wrapper, but I've done it with transparency film. Here's the link to the card I made last year:
TLC19 TLC33 Snowman Globe Shaker Card by bamagal at Splitcoaststampers

I'm sorry the picture is so dark; the real thing isn't nearly that dark.

If you use a CD wrapper, the plastic is thinner, so I wouldn't use the Diamond Dust in the middle. The paper is also quite thin. You could probably just use glitter and it would work. I imagine if you cut the outside edges off of the CD wrapper to make it two pieces, discard the back piece entirely, then cut a piece of cardstock backing, stamp it as desired, put some Tacky Strip (or whatever that red lined sticky stuff is) around the outside perimeter of the plastic circle, carefully place the glitter directly in the center of the circle on the plastic, then lay the backing piece on top of it, you would have your glitter globe. I imagine since the paper is so thin that you'd want to cover that front portion with another layer of cardstock with a circle cut out of it.

There probably is a tutorial somewhere on the web demonstrating how to do it; they might even have a better way of doing it than I described.

I hope this helps!
