Default Is Simple Stripes a must have bg stamp?

I've been thinking about getting this because stripes are so in these days. Do you think I should? I have 8 bg stamps now, and I think I'm getting addicted to them.

I don't know if it's a must-have but I'm getting it. I really like the way it looks, and I regret not getting Stipple Plaid. If you turn Simple Stripes one way then the other, you can get the same look.
People say that it has a country look, and overall it doesn't seem that popular, but I'm not a fan of the country look and I still like it.
I really think that all stamps and backgrounds and PERSONAL choices. Some just have a wider appeal than others
HTH.

I've got it...it's cool.

It can be either country or shabby chic. Nice stamp. But then, I rarely have met a background stamp I didn't like. ;)

I think it replaced the Stripes background stamp that was retired a year or two ago.

I got Simple Stripes as part of the current promo because I was looking for another more masculine BG.

I use it tone on tone most of the time for a very subtle background. It works great for masculine cards. HTH.

I'm sure I saw a card with white craft stamped on black that looked like a pinstripe suit... I'm getting it for the cute factor on that image alone!!!

I love my Simple Stripes background. I think it has a tailored look that's classy. I would definitely recommend getting it. Here are a few examples from the gallery that show how versatile it can be:

I think it is a fine background if you have no other stripe backgrounds. You can't go wrong with some vertical or horizontal stripes once in a while!
