Default silent auction

Hi Ladies....do any of you have any ideas for something I could donate to my school's Mother's Day Tea silent auction? I'm thinking for around the $10-15 mark. Homemade cards etc. and a stamp?? I'd love to hear your ideas!! Thanks. The tea isn't until May 6th.

Eraina - I've done a couple silent auction items. 1 - a cute basket with some sets of cards each bundled in a pretty ribbon (birthday, sympathy, get well, blank, etc). 4-6 per set, depending on what group I'm doing them for. 2- a decorated photo box filled with note cards, a 5x7 decorated note book, a post it note holder & pen, maybe a decorate frame. You get the idea. People love this stuff.

How about a flower boquet? If you look under Chris Williams pictures you will see one. I made one for my daughter's sorority's silent auction and it went well. You can put it in a basket or a ceramic type bowl, I got mine at the dollar store for $1.00 so there wasn't much expense involved. Stamp the flowers and add the suckers. I also made cards and put them in a basket. They went well also.

I donated a decorated paint can to my son's school silent auction . I did a baby theme. You could do one with bath things, chocolate, just about anything.

Just a question for all of you. If you dontate to a silent auction do you have to use the angel stamp on the back? I am donating a basket of cards to a Girl Guide dinner to be auctioned off and want to do it right.

I'm not technically selling them but...

Thanks
Denise
