Default Signature (Name) Question

Okay this my be a really dumb question but I have to ask!
When I look at pics in the gallery alot of the pics have the person's signature or name (nicely done) on top of or underneath of the pic. How did they do that? How can I do that?
TYIA:confused:

They are watermarks.
You use a program like Adobe Photoshop to create it and then add it to your digital photo before you upload it.
If you do a search for watermark you should find several threads with instructions.

After you sign in, in the upper right corner of the page is a link that says "Welcome, (insert username here)" click on that and it will take you to the page where you can access all of your personal settings. At the top of the Control Panel (side-bar) is a button for "Edit Signature", click on this and insert whatever you wish for your signature. Be sure to click save.
Hope this helps.

Here are a couple of free programs you can download that have the ability to layer a watermark over a photo...

http://www.faststone.org

http://gimp-win.sourceforge.net/

There are several of us ladies here on SCS that also design watermarks if you don't have software to create your own.

HTH!

HTH!
I got my beautiful watermark from Dini who wrote the above post. It only cost $3 and she is a delight to work with. Check on her blog, she has many to choose from. You'll be so pleased because it's so easy to use.:-D
