Sentiments for inside the cards...let's start a list
I am going to start collecting sentiments in an excel file. So if you would like to contribute I will get a list going. I can attach the file once we have a bunch so everyone can enjoy. I will see how this goes.
i've been thinking of doing the same thing--every time i see a sentiment i like, but don't really want to buy another stamp, i think "gee i should write that one down so i can hand write it on a card." but i never seem to write them down! this will be handy. i'll send them to you as i come across them. i love the sentiments from A Muse. they're a bit quirky.
It doesn't matter, I was going to try and list them by themes or catagories. Like I am doing some Valentine's now. Thinking of you might fall into the love catagory or not, it depends. I am just starting this list now so I am figuring it out as I go. Basically anything you would like to see inside a card. It could be funny, silly or serious. I figure if I get a list on excel people can then weed out what they don't want. Thanks for helping.
Thanks that is exactly what I am after, I am guilty of the same thing I don't write them down and then I need one, and I am off to old cards looking for a sentiment. Whatever you have just send it along. I compile a list. thanks
I have a few word doc files of quotes I've harvested but, alas, they are not in any sort of order. I really should go through and sort them out according to categories, but that is a daunting task and could take months to finish. I do have a few for specific occasions, which I'd be happy to share later. In the meantime, here are some from my Mary Engelbreit page-a-day desk calendar.

I think I read this sentiment on one of the websites for stampers' verses. I've used it on the inside of several cards and I love it --
Apart from it taking four hours painstakingly to make by an incredibly skilled and talented craftsperson . . . the only thing special about this card is the person holding it! Happy Birthday!
I just ordered the toad sheet of stamps from Eureka while they were having their sale and one of the sentiments that is included I can't wait to use. Next to all of the funny toads, in big letters, it says "Toad you so". It makes me smile to think of all the ways to use that one!

This is a great idea. I don't have access to my collection right now, but I love the Maxine type sayings for quick and funny cards. I also save store bought greeting cards, just because I like the verse. I'm at work right now, but if I get a chance when I get home tonight, I'll add some of mine.

This is a great idea, sorry I have none to share. Usually when I need something to print in a card, I'll go to www.twopeasinabucket.com Go to resources and pea soup and you can search for lyrics, poems, quotes, titles for your scrapbooking pages, whatever, by keywords, it's very cool....Also, look at your catalogs in the word sections....you don't have to buy the stamp to use the words that are printed on them.
You guys are good. I was overwhelmed at work today with PM's and believe it our not my job. I will put these on my excel list and post it hopefully tomorrow or by the weekend. Thanks
