Default Selling 3x3 cards individually

I was in a new shop today that sold a number of gift items. However, they didn't have any small gift cards to enclose with the gifts (or any cards for that matter).

I was thinking of approaching the store owner with the idea of making her 3x3 cards to sell with the gifts. Has anyone else done this? I think some have done it for floral shops. What do you charge and what price does the store owner typically charge their customers?

Thanks!

I approached one store about this, but it just wasn't the right place. I would keep at it until you find the right buyer -- I have sold (regular sized) cards before, and I just went from place to place until someone was willing to buy them. Good places to try might be (upscale) consignment stores, baby boutiques, hospital gift shops, etc. Hope it works out for you! I guess I would start at $1.25 - $1.50 each for the 3 x 3 size.

On the subject of selling 3x3's. I am considering selling sets of 8 3x3's in a handmade box (like TLC171) at a craft fair in the fall. I make the little envies and line them with matching dp. What do you think a reasonable price to ask might be........and do you even think they would sell? Thanks! Geri

I've had a hard time selling the 3X3's. i've had them packaged in twos at craft shows and individually at a flower shop and no one seems to "get" what you do with them. Any ideas on how to market them?

Be careful with the pricing of the 3x3's because the envelopes can be expensive, at least in Canada. As well as the clear envelopes you have to put them in and then your time. I make really simple 3x3 cards that don't take me too long.

Where do you find clear envelopes for 3x3's? I can't seem to find the right size.
