I got a lovely card from my SS today, in it she introduced herself and told me about her and her daughters but omitting her name so I am still none the wiser! This is fun...
The card was a pocket card with a fruit tea bag poked in I love the colours she used on it, pink, purple and turqoise. And in it she commentd she's be interested to see how long it took to get here. NOT LONG at all! Post marked 24th feb from OH and here in England 28th WOW that was quick.

I was so excited about this that I started last week working on different things to send my SS. My only fear is where I am so new to this she will be disappointed in the quality of things I will be sending.

There is no way she will be disappointed. It's not how fancy the things are, it's the thought that goes into them. Everyone started sometime, and she will know that. She will appreciate the thought and caring that went into making them!

Totally agree! For me the fun part is going to my mailbox and there is something there for me that isn't a bill. This is truly one of those times that it's the thought that counts.

I am so excited.. I got a package from my secret sister... I got it on Saturday.... It had 2 cards inside (Expresso yourself cards) and a 'Card Crafting' idea book..... woohoo.... I am sending out my secret sisters first package today.. How fun is this???

My Secret Sis rocks! (Hi there if you're reading this! :lol: ) Not only did I get a cute card but she also sent me some return address labels she made on the computer and stamped an image next to it. She made some for me with my name and address and then some for me to use when I send stuff to my secret sis with Secret Sister-SCS and my address. Isn't that clever? I love this. What a great surprise! :o :o

I have added the card my sis sent into the gallery. Can't wait to be able to give credit where credit is due. My sis gave me a clue to who she is... she also has 2 kids--jeepers that could be anyone

We don't have our own forum. There are things in the works for forums, so nothing new right now. We can just post here. We do have a gallery, though. You can post a pic/scan and a "thank you" in the text of the description.

My SS sent me 3 Cards! So very sweet of her... I want to know how she mailed them... there is no indication of where they came from at all... hmmm ~ I think she is very sneaky...
Anyways, they are posted to the SS Gallery! I think they are Wonderful!

And I've been emailing the person that I'm secret sister to, but haven't heard back from them.

You're not alone. I haven't heard from my s.s. yet either, but I've been in touch with the one that I'm doing for. I'm learning a lot about her and am having lots of fun doing things and thinking of things to do for her.

I think everyone in the SS group should do that- take two minutes to post to this secret sisters thread and say I heard from my SS today. At least then we'd know it got there!
No, I haven't started a separate email for it. Quite frankly I have a hard enough time keeping up with the emails and pm's I get now!!! LOL!! :oops:
