Default In search of stamp with pine tree branches

Hi, I'm wondering if in your shopping-travels, you've ever come across a stamp that is a pine tree branch with detail?

What I'm looking to do is stamp the edges of a card with the stamp...maybe kind of stamp off the card to make it the type of border where only part of the stamped image shows on the card, but I wanted the detail of the pine needles (hope that makes sense...).

It's probably easier to give you a visual! Take a look at this card, I'd like to make a border image that is stamped like these branches, but with pine or a Christmas-y looking branch instead...

Card I like

I don't know if you know a Stampin Up! demo, but I was thinking that the Peaceful Wishes set makes beautiful cards.

I would say peaceful wishes, also. Here's a link to a card that has the concept I think you are describing.

I did something like this for my Christams card last year, with water color crayons. It was fun, quick and relatively easy to turn out quite a few. I didn't post mine because it was so similar to others already in the gallery.

Cornish Heritage Farms has a Pine Needles and Cones Background Stamp that could be partially inked.

The SU set "Simply Seasonal" has a pine tree branch that almost looks like the card you showed us.

Here is a card I picked randomly from the gallery showing the pine needles.
(It is by "fargets")

Before I had Peaceful Wishes, I used the lone pine tree from Lovely as a Tree to create a border image. The closest thing I could find in the gallery is this one, by Kittie747

There is also a retired set from SU called Fantastic Foliage from 1998 that has a nice pine branch and pine cone it it.

DeNami has a couple of pine stamps in their retired collection - the "Pine Pick" on the first line & if you scroll down a few lines they also have the "Pine Strand". http://www.denamidesign.com/outlet/retiredstamps1.html

I just ordered some stamps from Rubber Stamp Tapestry and if you look in the peg stamp sets under seasonal? or holidays? something like that, they have several wintry sets including pine boughs. Good luck!! (lots of great answers to your question here!)

Default Pine Tree Branches Stamp

CapeAragoRubberStamps has a "Fir Bough" and "Cedar Boughs" unmounted background stamps (4 x 5-1/2 inches) that you may like.

They are found in the Botanical Backgrounds section.
