I have plain ol' seam binding from my local fabric shop and some from Martha Stewart. I have colored white seam binding to make it match cards. But I just discovered an etsy shop that sells shabby wrinkled ribbon is different colors...so pretty! This may not be what you're looking for, but here's the link:
She had a lot more colors, but of course, I bought a few. I'm sure it varies from time to time.
I've seen many cards here on SCS made with this wrinkled seam binding, but here's the one that I put in to my favs & that led me to the etsy shop: HK Shabby Birthday by Vervegirl You can see a lot of gorgeous examples of it used in Vervegirl's gallery.
After reading other posts on the forums here, I purchased it from Amazon. Search there for "Hug Snug seam binding." (It's sold by ZipperStop.)
Another tip mentioned in other threads is to color it with the chisel end of Copic markers. I ordered two colors of seam binding: Chalk White to use for warm colors and Winter White to use for cool colors. If you already have the markers, you can match any cardstock or DP this way.
It you are looking for a small quantity of it, you might check with member company Technique Tuesday.
While it's not on their web site, you can always email them and ask them if they have any available in their warehouse. They sell it for 50 cents a yard at the scrapbook conventions and sell about 36 colors of it.

Barbara Jay - thanks so much for the link showing Becca's video of how to make your own wrinkled, dyed seam binding. I learned that a hair iron is the same as a ribbon iron. I've always wanted a ribbon iron and didn't realize I already had one in my bathroom! I don't use it for my hair anymore, so that's just another item that will become useful in my craft room.
I think I would like the splotchy look for vintage cards, but I also like a more solid colored ribbon for most projects. Coloring with a marker works great. I've only used SU markers...because that's what I had. Also I colored some seam binding just yesterday by swiping a sponge over my ink pad and then rubbing it over the ribbon that was stretched out flat on scrap paper...although I'll probably lay it on wax paper after seeing the video. This sponging method seemed even easier than using a marker and it gave a more solid color as well. It dries almost instantly and I was able to wrinkle it by crushing it up in my hand.
Now I'm off to buy some Hug Snug seam binding. Thanks for all the info everyone!

Just bought my Hug Snug seam binding from zipperstop (the seller Judi posted about) but on eBay. That seller will combine shipping so that 3, 100 yd each, rolls will ship for $3.95...and you have many, many choices of color. Can't wait to get it. Thanks again for all the enabling!
Leisa I don't like the shabby wrinkled look . However I colored the seambinding with a Copic marker and it looked professionally dyed. I'll bet sharpies or Bics would work well too. I just don't have any to try

Looks nice , but it is $2.75 for only 6 yards and the Snug-Hug is $10.00 for 100 yards. Quite a price difference.
True. But IF you only want small yardage and don't want to pay the progressive shipping and handling that some other places charge. We are the place to go.
I have been looking all over for this particular seam binding; never thought to look for it on Amazon. Thank you for the enabling ladies.
It's getting to the point thatI should just look on Amazon for anything I want or need. It's always there, I don't waste gas looking from store to store, and their shipping is FAST.

Bic Markits work great for dying the seam binding.

I also bought from ZipperStop and their shipping was extremely fast. I ordered on Black Friday last November (very very early in the morning) and had it in my mailbox Monday afternoon. NY to CA - pretty darn fast. Received a very friendly email from them too.
