I would like to make scripture albums for friends and family. Just wondering if anyone has done this. Any thoughts or ideas would be appreciated. I'm not sure if I should add photos to the album or just keep it with scripture.
I did something similar to this several years or so ago. I just wrote down scriptures and then left blank lines to be used as a journal type album. I started the album with a favorite scripture of mine and wrote about what that meant to me that day. Our daughters (who got 2 of them as gifts) would do the same thing. It was really fascinating to me when they shared those with me the different types of things they would write as they went back over the scriptures on different days/occassions.
I chose scriptures of affirmation, unconditional love, hope, etc.
I have a friend who made a gratitude album. She chose scriptures that spoke directly to being thankful and then left space for people to count their blessings on that particular day.
Neither of us used photos.
Maybe this will give you a little nudge in whatever direction you'd like to go. Good luck with your awesome project!

You might want to check out the blog of Patter Cross. (triplethescraps.blogspot.com) I've been very inspired by her scripture challenge layouts. Seeing her fabulous work might help you decide what you want to do. Please share what you decide--it sounds like a great project! :-)
I've been making ATCs with scriptures for my church and for some challenges for a while now. You can get little albums for atcs - they're a great size and they're fun to do!
I used an accordian book from a kit that SU sold years ago. I'd hung onto it forever trying to figure out what to do with it. Then I bought a bunch of scripture stamps from Verve when they had a sale recently. Most of them were the perfect size for this book. I just added solid card stock, and some DP from my stash and that's what I ended up with. I have two; I plan on giving one to a neighbor and keeping one for myself. The stamps I bought are some of my favorite scripture.
A couple of years ago I played the monthly Bible verse challenge here on SCS and I created a tin full of scripture cards. You can see the complete set here. I gave the set as a birthday gift.

Cobby-lovely accordian alum. I appreciate your sharing this.

Jami,
Your scripture cards are beautiful and the tin to store them is a wonderful idea.
Thank you for sharing.

Thanks! Glad you like them. You can see all the cards made by different people who participated in that challenge here --> BVC08. When looking that up I found a mini bandaid sized tin I also did that year. It's a much simpler, quicker project.

I took part in a swap where each person signed up for one of the fruits of the spirit. It was lovely receiving the 6 x 6 swap pages, but you could do something like this on your own too. Each page has a scripture for that fruit of the spirit.
Hi--as in my previous post I was looking for ideas on a scripture ablum. I have decided to make an album of scripture based on God's love for us. I want to start with a title page.
Just wondering if I could get some input on what I have so far:
Dear
You are dearly loved by the Lord. This is a collection of Bible verses that illustrates His love for you.
I pray that you may have power, together with all the saints , to grasp how wide, and long and high and deep is the love of Christ (Ephesians 3:17-19).

Your idea for a scripture book illustrating the Lord's love is a wonderful idea. Here's a verse that I love ... you may want to include this in your book.
Zephaniah 3:17
The LORD your God is with you,
the Mighty Warrior who saves.
He will take great delight in you;
in his love he will no longer rebuke you,
but will rejoice over you with singing.
