I placed an order with this company on April 17. I have emailed tham and called, and have no response. I think they are not reputable. Any one else had difficulties with them???

I've ordered a few times from them in the past with no issues, but haven't ordered anything in the last few months. Hopefully they'll be back to you soon.

A few months ago I ordered a die from Scrapyland. Not all the pieces were in the package so I contacted them and per their instructions sent the die back to them. They told me I would have to wait until they worked this out with THEIR SUPPLIER before they could respond. I am NOT a customer of their supplier. I am SCRAPYLAND'S customer. It's up to them to settle the problem with THEIR supplier. Meanwhile do what is right for THEIR customer and replace the defective die. All of this went on for a month. Finally I asked for a credit and finally they sent one.
Iriseyes- I did think of that but couldn't think of any name it might be short for. Her blog list's her name as Su last name. Like I said- it just amused me last night.
well I just saw this haha. Since Scrappy is a word with a proper spelling I would think a company would want to spell it correctly. As spelled it would be pronounced with a long a sound, like you just got a scrape on your knee with a y at the end. I just think a business should represent what they are selling
As for my name, it is pronounced the same with or without the e and my full name is Susan - there is no e so mine disappeared when I became an independent teenager who was sick of being confused with the 13 other Sue's in my class. I think you will find Su to be a legitimate name throughout the world.
Scrapy is one of my "fingernails on the blackboard" grammatical errors so I wouldn't buy from a store that uses it in their name.

I always liked to say that "scrapy" is what I do to my car windows after it's been snowy.
Well, Su, I'm with you. I'm a former English teacher, and I just can't buy anything from a company that spells its name incorrectly. I'm not talking about an original or creative way of spelling, as you said. "Scrapy" is just wrong. I have a hard time reading a magazine that has a glaring grammatical error in the title of one of their features in every single issue. I've written to the editor 3 times, and she finally told me that they know it's wrong, but it looks good. She said that if they printed it the correct way, it wouldn't look as nice.
BTW, I like the way you spell your name. Good for you for being an original!
I buy from them all the time. I don't care how they spell their name, only that I get good customer service and prices. I've never had an issue with a purchase (I estimate dozens over the last few years) and have had good responses when I've needed to contact them due to my error. (I've occasionally ordered duplicates or left something off an order. It's always been rectified without a hassle or additional expense.)
Re the OP's (correction: subsequent poster's) problem, I wonder if SL had to contact the supplier because they (SL) didn't have an additional die to send out.
ETA I do understand the spelling thing, though. I'm old enough to remember when "donuts" was always spelled "doughnuts" and "thru" was "through."

Here's an update. I received my order, complete, after 5 weeks. I never did get in touch with them, although I tried calling (never answered), and emailing (never answered). I had made a mistake in my order, and never had the opportunity to get it straightened out. With such poor (NOTHING!) response, even though their prices are wonderful, I would not order from them again. Just so frustrating!
