has anyone made a template for an envi for the scrapling-don't know how to do that but would love to have one-please
thankyou
hi Lynn! i don't have a template, but there's a basic envelope template on the mirkwood site [here] and she even includes instructions on resizing it - so thought you might find that useful.
based on PS requirements, you can't mail the scrapling - but i'm thinking you want an envie for gifts?
walmart and other places carry 24# printer paper, this is HEAVIER than reg. printer paper and has a very smooth finish it makes wonderful envelopes. You get 500 sheets for around $6.........I have the Accucut Grandemark diecut machine and all the envelope dies and can cut 4 at a time and LOVE this paper for my envelopes. give it a try............................
Okay, I fiddled around and came up with this. Beginning size of paper/cardstock is 4 x 5.5. Score in 1/2" on both short sides. Rotate and score at 1.5 and 3. Trim, as shown, to make flaps. Add doublesided tape to 2 flaps.
Punch a half circle (to get card out of envelope easier). Adhere flaps to create envelope sides. Fold top flap down and adhere/tie/etc. to close envelope. This size will fit a scrapling that is 1.25 x 4.25.
I never heard of them until this thread and when I searched the net the SCS gallery came up. I have a lot of long thin scraps so scraplings are going to the top of my list.
