I also used the New Beginnings set for a cousin's Save the Date and then shower invites and thank yous - a great choice. They've brought in lots of new business.
sorry to ask a stupid question but what are 'save the date cards'??
They are like " Wedding Announcements" for lack of a better term. They are sent Pre Invite so that out of towners will know to "save the date" and make travel arrangements... No question is stupid unless it goes unasked!
My brother's was really simple--it had a ribbon with a knot tied in the middle of the page and said "tying the knot" with all of the relevant info printed below the knot. No stamping, I know, but very simple, and very easy to modify depending upon the couple (elegant ribbon, elegant font vs. funky ribbon, funky fonts...)
I'm getting ready to make my own save the date cards and i'll be using the happily ever after set. I'll let ya know how it goes and post a sample soon if you would like..
