Demos always get to see the next mini on the 12th of the month before pre-order then pre-order is the month before the mini goes live, so we get to order in December. You should be able to get a copy shortly after since we can order packs of them then. Once we get them in our hands we can pass them out! Not sure when you'll get it if your demo has them mailed directly to you as I don't ever do that.
And I'll kindly remind folks that the digital copy is not supposed to be distributed until the mini goes live in January:-) BUT your demo can let you look at hers once she gets it....I know a FEW lucky demos have....most of us are still waiting....and will wait:-)

My demo has hers and I am meeting her Friday to pick up an order so I may get a peek! I forgot demos can preorder, so that would explain why it's out so long before I can order...
Everyone is so excited. You all remind me of kids waiting for Santa Claus!
Twas the month before the mini release, when all through the thread
Not a customer was patient, not even the demo head.
The ink pads were stored in the color caddy,
In hopes that Stampin Up soon would release its new adie.
The children were nestled all snug in their beds,
While visions of new punches danced in their mom’s heads.
Bound4london in her stamping apron, pedalpower, her bike nearby
Shook at their craft tables, waiting for time to fly by.
When out on the SplitCoast there arose such chatter,
Sue Alt hobbled to her computer to see what was the matter.
Using Windows 7, she typed in a flash,
Skipping Buy/Sell and General Stamping, to the sale-a-bration thread she did dash.
Muscrat, Sprtchick and Lazorky did not know
If they could wait for the new catty to show.
When, what to their wondering eyes should appear,
Stampingoddess with a stack of occasion minis right near.
I ran out of creativity juice before I finished the poem or got everyones names listed in it. And Sue, I hope you weren't offended by the hobbling. I recently had surgery and have only been walking upright (as opposed to like a cavewoman) this past week!

Lucky her and you! I never get my hard copy very early. They come with our montly magazine in one of those plastic sleeves and I've heard that those really slow stuff down, like take longer to get through the post office. I got my monthly mag by itself last month the day after it posted online which is really fast for the mid west. This one will take a lot longer I assume. Oh well:-) I'm already making and remaking my list!!! And it's getting longer and longer, *sigh*. I need to wait for some things for SAB and get freebies though!!!!!
I got mine yesterday....and I am not a demo. Have not been for many months. I emailed and told them to remove me from the mailing list...so...I guess I will enjoy it.
It is a good mini.
blessings.
For the first time in Sell A Bration history (for me 15 years) I didn't feel the need to have the specials. I thought maybe I was sick or something. I hope I love them all this year. I like having special sets that are only available for SAB, I hope that doesn't go away.

Ah, if only the poem were true and I did have a stack of minis sitting nearby. But alas I did even have my own demo hard copy yet, I had to download the PDFfrom the Stampin' Up! demonstrator site.

Hey that's a BIG reason why I signed up! I wanted to be able to see everything early and get an extra month to buy! :-) I have a problem, I'm aware, lol!!!!!
I wish that they'd do SAB before Christmas so I could ask for SU for Christmas. Or at least show the SAB/Occasions Mini before Christmas so I could see if a demo did gift certificates so I could ask for those for Christmas if I knew there was tons of stuff I wanted since the demo I normally order from is several states away and I can't go to her house for a peek at the catalog. By the time January comes around there is less extra money after buying Christmas gifts and other extra expenses around the holidays.

The reason for SAB after Christmas is that January and February are generally otherwise slow sales periods. SAB was developed to increase sales during these two slow months of the year.

Have you asked your demonstrator is she does gift certificates? Many do.

I do understand why they do it then, I just wish that they showed what will be available ahead of time. Last year there were several sab things I would have liked, but I was only able to get one since money was tight.

She probably does, but sometimes there's not anything in the SAB or mini that I want (like there is nothing in the current Christmas mini that I "need") so I'm not sure that I want a gc in case I don't "need" anything from either of the cattys. I'll get plenty of crafting goodies for Christmas so I'm sure I'll still have plenty to play with in January/February. I think I need to change my birthday to January or February!
I know SAB starts in January but what is the first date customers can order from SAB? Asking because I am in a monthly club and needing to know if it will be "active" for January club orders.
