I could let go of Lovely Lilac, Brilliant Blue, Glorious Green and Only Orange in Bold
More Mustard, Ruby Red, and Cameo Coral in Earth
Handsome hunter and Rose Red in rich
Lavendar Lace in Soft
Hmmm... I guess I like most of the colors okay. There are a few I could stand to lose:
Bravo Burgundy (I'd love to have more of a maroon color and less brownish)
Orchid whatever (just plain nasty)
Blush Blossom (I've never found a single thing to use it on)
Any of the BB greens (I'd love a nice apple green; grannysmith green or some such)
The RR blues need revamped too (sub in soft sky or Baja Breeze for at least one of them)
I like the vast majority of the SU colors, and to be honest have WAY too much money invested in them for SU to change much. That being said, if Cameo Coral went away, never to be seen again, I would not grieve, and I would like to see Pretty in Pink be replaced with Pink Pirroutte.
Beyond that, I am happy with the colors, even Orchid Opulence and Gable Green!
First off, I am a color lover, I feel there can never be enough choices. But here's my favorites
Bold Brights
Real Red
Lovely Lilac
Tempting Turquoise
Earth Elements
Chocolate Chip
Close to Cocoa
Cameo Coral
Summer Sun
Old Olive
Not Quite Navy
Rich Regals
Night of Navy
Taken With Teal
Rose Red
Elegant Eggplant
Soft Subtles
Perfect Plum
Almost Amethyst
Certainly Celery
In Color Favorites
Cool Caribbean
Soft Sky
Blue Bayou
Riding Hood Red
Pink Priouette
Baja Breeze
Kiwi Kiss
Even though those are my favorites I wouldn't want to ditch the others, I have used almost all the colors at one time or another. I also continue to use the in colors after they are retired, I'm a hobby demo, so I feel free to do that. I also feel that customers should always feel free to do that, and I love when an "old color" appears on a blog.

Oh, you cant get rid of Brilliant blue for sure....its our "school colors" and I forsee using that alot when I redo my sons school sports pictures! LOL
As a matter of fact, I bet several of the Bold Brights colors are other schools' school colors so we gotta keep them!
There are many soft subtles colors I dont use...just not a SS person. Also, the Rich Regals blues are hideous! I dont use any of those...not for my own personal projects at least.
And I LOVE Cameo Coral....I would hate to see it go! So I guess this is the perfect example of "to each his own"....and I agree, I have way too much money invested in all my ink pads, papers, ribbon, etc for them to get rid of any...yikes!
Joan you crack me up with Orchid OOKIE...I hate that color...never could warm up to it. I love most of our colors but some more than others...blessings.
Real Red
Pink Passion
Pixie Pink
Chocolate Chip
Old Olive
Always Artichoke
So Saffron
Regal Rose
Rose Red
Certainly Celery
My Secondary Faves are:
Green Galore
Orchid Opulance
Lovely Lilac
Tempting Turquoise
Pretty In Pink
Blush Blossom
Mellow Moss
Sage Shadow
Almost Amethyst
The ones I NEVER USE:
Taken With Teal
Handsome Hunter

Glorious Green
Orchid Ookie
Only Orange
Yoyo yellow
Cameo Coral
Handsome Hunter
Sage Shadow
Blush blossom
Apricot Appeal
My go-to colors are:
Always Artichoke
Taken with Teal
Real Red
Chocolate Chip
Certainly Celery
Lavender Lace
Mellow Moss
In colors I'd love to stay:
Wild Wasabi!!!
Purely Pom!!!
Baja Breeze
New colors I'd love to see:
a lemony yellow
a true purple
a softer lavender
a warm gold (something between morning marigold and more mustart)
a soft pink like pink pir.
a neurtral flesh tone (lighter and pinker than blush blossom)

Reason: typo...oops
And I LOVE Cameo Coral....I would hate to see it go! So I guess this is the perfect example of "to each his own"....
Cameo Coral was one of my 'first loves' when I discovered SU . . . I don't use it as much now but I still love it! I also love Green Galore, and Blush Blossom . . . and even Orchid! Then again, I used to hang with the unpopular kids when I was in school too! LOL:rolleyes:
Its funny how we all have our faves, and our dont care if I ever see it again colors, but.... we all have a different opinion of what that is!
my I will die if you take it away colors:
choc chip {will die}
close to cocoa
so saffron
certainly celery
old olive
all pinks!!
And frankly I dont care if I never see you again colors:
apricot appeal
glorious green {who named that glorious} bleck
hansome hunter
Orchid the aweful!
I have never once used More Mustard or Really Rust. Blush blossom is useless; YoYo Yellow...yuck; Glorious Green....yuck; as for the rest, I either really like and use them or I don't mind them.
I just wish that SU brought out a mint green - none of the greens do it for me when I try to make gender neutral baby cards.
and, like someone else posted, a lemony yellow would be great too!
brights
I like all brights except glorious green and brilliant blue. Would love to see those replaced with wild wasabi and pacific point,
Never give up tempting turquoise, real red or green galore.
earth
Don't care much for mustard, even though it does have its spot and I use it sometimes for accents.
Would like to see ruby red replaced with riding hood red plus there needs to be a space for kiwi kiss too.
Never give up pumpkin pie and chocolate chip
regals
Don't care much for hunter or bordering blue (replace with soft sky) I do love so saffron.
subtles
Replace pretty in pink with pink pirhouette.
It's interesting how some of us love colors that others hate. I really do like orchid opulence, and blush blossom is one of my absolute favorites--it really makes beautiful wedding cards. I guess that's why there are 48 colors.

I keep "discovering" new colors. Rose Red and Really Rust are my new favs. So far I have not discovered a need for Cameo Coral (it's pretty, but I can't get it to work with anything else) and Elegant Eggplant (too dark).
Some of my other favs are:
Glorious Green
Barely Banana
Creamy Caramel
I would like to see Wild Wasabi become a permanent color and I would love to see a Rasberry color and a lemony yellow.

I vote for these colors! Wouldn't they be wonderful together?!?!?

I love seeing everyone's favorites and 'no-go's'! I reach for So Saffron, Vanilla, and River Rock (yes, I have almost a half package left and should have ordered more!) all the time for so many neutral cards. I totally agree that Blush Blossom is useless...I even sent back the stamp pad because the color didn't show up even on Whisper White. I have several assorted packages of each color family, then just add full colors as I have trends...I wish SU would have a survey and keep some of the In-Colors, too!
I wish SU would have a survey and keep some of the In-Colors, too!
That is why I thought I would tally the responses... in hopes that someone connected with the company will see it and pass on the info. It's certainly a very small and informal sampling, but it is still of interest, imo.
I am another who can never have enough colors, so I would be sad to lose any of them. I may not use them all ALL the time, but I think all of them have their place on some project! I like looking at what others don't like though. I really am surprised that so many people hate Orchid Op. I just see it as a pretty purple! Here are my faves: Tempting Turq, Choc Chip, Pumpkin Pie, Always Artichoke, So Saffron, Regal Rose, Rose Red, and Certainly Celery. I usually like all of the In-Colors too, but I like to see them replaced with new colors after a year for some variety. I actually hope they don't reinstate some of them because I get rid of them after they retire and don't want to have to spend more money to replace them!
MY FAVES:
Green Galore
Pixie Pink
Chocolate Chip
Ruby Red
Cameo Coral
Old Olive
Garden Green
Always Artichoke
So Saffron
Rose Red
Apricot Appeal
Barely Banana
Certainly Celery
Bashful Blue
WOULD MISS:
Gable Green
Real Red
Pink Passion
Orchid Opulence
Lovely Lilac
Tempting Tirquoise
Close to Cocoa
Creamy Caramel
More Mustard
Pumpkin Pie
Really Rust
Summer Sun
Not Quite Navy
Brocade Blue
Bordering Blue
Night of Navy
Regal Rose
Bravo Burgundy
Elegant Eggplant
Pretty in Pink (tho Pink Pirouette would be good)
Blush Blossom
Almost Amethyst
WOULDN’T MISS:
Glorious Green
YoYo Yellow
Only Orange
Brilliant Blue
Ballet Blue
Taken with Teal
Handsome Hunter
Perfect Plum
Pale Plum
Sage Shadow
Mellow Moss
Lavender Lace
Off the top I can't remember which incolors I would want to keep, but I do like many of them - if only because they are close to other colors I like and it makes color matching with designer paper, etc. easier.
Wowwwww.....there are just so many different views...I am glad that there are so many colors to choose from so we can all be happy as clams...I absolutly love the Elegant Eggplant paird with Summer Sun...it is so rich and beautiful...
blessings,.
Bold Brights
Love: Real Red, Lovely Lilac, Brilliant Blue, Tempting Turquiose
Hate: Only Orange, Pixie Pink, Pink Passion
The rest I like enough to keep
Earth Elements
Love: Chocolate Chip, Creamy Caramel, Close to Cocoa, Not Quite Navy
Hate: More Mustard, Old Olive (ducking here, but I've honestly tried to like this color and I just can't) and Summer Sun
Like the rest of them but would like to see Cameo Coral replaced with Groovy Guava, and Ruby Red replaced with Riding Hood Red
Regals
Hate: Bravo Burgundy (please bring back the old color!), Handsome Hunter and Bordering Blue
Love: all the rest, this is my favorite color family, and I use all the other colors A LOT. Faves are Rose Red, Artichoke, and Eggplant
Subtles
I actually like all the colors in this family, but I do have problems using Pale Plum and Apricot. I just have trouble finding other colors that look good with them. My faves are Perfect Plum, Barely Banana, Celery, Mellow Moss, Sage Shadow, Bashful Blue.
In Colors I would Like to Keep
Cool Carribbean, Groovy Guava, Soft Sky, Wasabi, Pomogranate, River Rock, and Pink Piroutte (maybe replace Pretty in Pink with this color, even though I do like Pretty in Pink)

Oh yes, RASBERRY would be great! I would also love to see a mint green or a seafoam green.
