I received the set of stamps I ordered from Rubber Stamping Fun today. I just ordered Woodland Animals yesterday, so that is super fast shipping! (Of course, being in the same state as the company helps too )
The stamps are nice! It seems to be good quality foam and I got a good impression. I may need to trim more with my exacto knife because it can smudge if ink gets on the rubber near the image. I went ahead and uploaded to my blog if you want to take a look.
These stamps are similar to the Su set Pines, but I didn't need all of the other stamps, just the bear and elk.

Tracy, I totally agree, I am over the moon, especially when I see some of the other stampers that have been chosen as well, and am sooo pleased that they have picked a couple of us that live in the UK as well, which is fantastic, so congrats to you Alli as well xxx
It is a really exciting feeling knowing that somebody has actually taken the time to look at our blogs, galleries etc and then picked us because of that, how cool is that. I have just plucked up the courage to send off some of my cards to a card making magazine in UK to become a designer (ie commissioned) etc, so I am crossing fingers and toes, we will see
Again, congrats everybody and can't wait to see what sets everybody picks and what we all do with them xx
Congrats to you too Alex. Did you get the email that lots seemed to get today telling them that they get to choose a set? I didn't so I'm wondering if it's because I'm in the UK, or if I'm just impatient and I'm in the next wave of emails! ;) :mrgreen:
Wow, I cannot believe the company I'm in ... You fab stampers are amazing! I got chosen as well. I hope I can keep up with the awesome stampers selected!
Wow! I am soooo excited, I was chosen as well. And the email today actually stated their first surprise for us - Christmas in June! They will be letting us pick our own set this time, from 20 new sets not yet available! Not only am I excited for me, but I can't wait to see what everyone else creates as well!!! Watch for all the different designs and reviews to come!

Something is weird though...I had a friend ask me about the stamps I used and I told her where to look....and now they are no where on the site!!! I did a double take on my receipt and indeed it is listed as Woodland Animals, but I can no longer locate it. I originally saw this set on the homepage as various sets they offer and now the circus set is there in its place.

Update on the stamp set Woodland Animals. Adam emailed and told me that shortly after I purchased the stamp set they sold out. They will have more available soon.

Hey everyone, Glad to have found this thread. I was picked also, but didn't get the email aobut getting to choose a set. I'll have to email and see If I missed something.

I didn't get the email either so I emailed them and it seems that comcast is blocking their emails to me for some reason. I'm supposed to watch for it this afternoon.
Don't feel left out, I think they're still trying to work out kinks.

I got their second email...(had to contact them about the first..and they resent it) but I have not gotten their second one...I wonder how that happens???

To confuse things further, in all the excitement, some of the private forms for the program were posted publicly which resulted in some receiving information by skipping through of the initial steps"

"Your information was read (and very interesting!), your blogs...websites...galleries were visited, cards and styles were looked at etc... We received piles of submissions...and of those we asked approx. 145 to take part in the pilot program."
So apparently, some people who believe that they've been chosen, have in fact not been. This is the 6th email that I've received from them... so I am assuming that I'm in.
*snicker* I can just imagine the look on DH's face if he saw me wearing a shirt saying that!! ROFLOL!!!! :mrgreen: :twisted:
Ok, I just found this thread and I'm havin' the best time reading everyone's messages. Love the "rubber tester" shirt idea! A bumper sticker might be nice too!
p.s. I was picked too! I was thrilled when I got the email and now to find this thread and see what great company I'll be in - YIPPEE! Can't wait to see the sets and everyone's creations!

Yep! I am pretty excited. I had to re-read it twice. I am shocked that I was 1 out of 145 chosen. I sure am excited!
