Default rub off word transfers

Does anyone know how to make rub off word transfers using your home computer and printer? I think I remember seeing a thread a long time ago on this, but I can't find it.

Thanks!

Hi Angela,
I just did this for a swap. You go into your word processing program, type in your word or phrase. Then you need to 'flip' it (in WordArt you just flip) so that it reads in reverse. You then print on the acetate..if your acetate has a smooth and a rough side (mine didn't) print on the smooth side. You will need to rub right after you print, otherwise the ink will be too dry to rub off. HTH Good luck.

Making your own rub-ons keep you from futzing around with getting measurements right, getting the words placed just so on the paper and give you a bit more flexibility with placement. For example, if you want a word that's half on one color CS and half on another, the rub-on will let you do that.

I tried doing this and I think I printed on the wrong side of my transparency. It came out a big mess. I'll have to try this again!
