Rose Romance color?

I have a question about the rose romance color. I received the classic pad and expected it to be a rosy pink like on the cover of the pad. Instead, when I stamped it on white CS, it was red--in fact not much different from the other two reds I have. Was I looking at the wrong color in the catty or is this the actual color? I was hoping it would look like this card:Gallery at Splitcoaststampers

My Rose Romance looks a little darker than the card you put in the link...but it could be the color on my computer.

mine's slightly darker than the color on the cover, but definitely not red.

My rose romance is very red, rather than that ashy pink color, when it's freshly reinked and I've used too much; also whenever I use it on anything that is not SU! paper (I did a trial stamping on my grid paper and was sure I had grabbed rose red instead).

I recently reinked my Rose Romance and freaked out when I noticed how much it looks like my Rose Red now. I'm sure that I didn't mix up the reinkers. Was this one of the color changes that SU made?

Mine is so close to rose red that on ultrasmooth white-you can't tell the difference! I called DS and they told me basically"Oh well...." :o Michaelann

I just got Rose Romance myself and I to am disappointed at how dark it is.

Hmm.....maybe a recent change. I got my pads a year ago and they rose romance is definitely more pink than rose red. Wow, I wish they'd stop tricking us with all the colors!

I am so thankful that I was warned about the new Rose Romance pads being like Rose Red...I just got mine and it is dark. I stamped off and then stamped on my card so that I can get the pretty pink color I want. I hope this idea helps someone.

Mine is dark like the Rose Red too. I also thought I'd picked up the wrong pad. I wonder if I call DS if I'll get a different person.
