~MAGIC REINDEER FOOD~
Sprinkle on the lawn at night
The moon will make it sparkle bright
Santa's reindeer fly and roam,
This will guide them to your home.
If you are using sand, the title
should be MAGIC REINDEER DUST.

We're adults. When did that happen? And how do we make it stop? ~ Dr. Meredith Grey, Grey's Anatomy
Inside this special package is a treat
but not for you!
It contains magical reindeer food
and here is what you do.
Sprinkle this magical reindeer food
carefully on the ground.
And tonight if you are lucky
Santa's reindeer will come around.
But here's a secret I have to tell,
one you must try to keep.
That Santa's reindeer only come
when you are fast asleep.
So quickly put your jammies on
and get a story read,
Then sprinkle this magic treat outside
and hurry off to bed!
What a great idea! I am teaching my daughters Moppet class Thursday night and need to come up with some cute ideas for the 10 three-year-olds I will be teaching. I think I give them the bags after reading "Twas the Night Before Christmas"!
Don't use glitter in the reindeer food - I've read that it can be toxic to birds and other critters that my munch on the oats. Colored sugar is much better. Have fun!
