Default Regional Stamp Set

I was a little surprised to see the Regional Stamp Set has a gallery here. Did you know that the demonstrators that they have working at regionals have to sign something stating they won't use it for their swaps, or show it to anyone????

Please - no flames, it is just a question?

Default regionals swap

I don't know about people working at regionals, but they didn't say anything or have attendees sign anything regarding using Natural Beauty. Obviously I woudn't use it with customers, because they can't buy it from me, but I sure love the set and regularly use it for my own personal stamping! I'm sure it will be used a lot for swaps at the next convention as well. I know I used last years regional set for demo swaps in june and july because all the local demos were gearing up for the new catty and wanted to have swaps from upcoming sets.

I can understand SU having "workers" sign some sort of release or restriction, but you can't invite people to a regional, have them pay $$ and then tell them they can't use the set until such and such date....

I'm a demo who attended the Columbus regional (there are often non-demos at regionals too, BTW) and there was no mention of not using the stamp set. We definately didn't sign anything. A new stamp set is one of the benefits of the regionals. I'm not sure what rules they have for the demos who work at the regionals. As I understand it, they aren't allowed to say how SU! compensates them for their help at the event.

I am not a demo, so I don't know anything about the rules. My opinion, however, is that by allowing the new stamp set to be used in places like SCS, SU! will sell many more of them because of the long wait all of us non demos will have to be able to purchase the set! How excruciating and what good marketing to build up the anticipation that way!

Does anyone else speculate what else will be in the new catalogue/ and maybe what will not . I was just looking at the Natural Beauty gallery (beautiful examples everyone!) and thinking it looks pretty similar to the new Hostess set Flower Garden... Will they put both in?
I'm happy to see a nice bird again, I loved Feathered Hope.
