Please don't *flame* me, I'm not trying to be negative nelly here, but doesn't SU have an obligation to tell us exactly when to expect our catalog shipments, since that is a major facet of the business (and we did pay for the product - it's not like it's being sent free)? I am a hobby demo (not the first time I have been through this - I've been active since 8/05), but I feel for the career demos, that rely on this shipment for their open houses, parties etc. I would have a difficult time scheduling any events not knowing if I am going to have a primary selling tool in hand....
Sorry if I irked anyone, Ive been thinking about this for a few days. It's a little complicated for me personally, as I DON'T drive, and have to rely on transportation to where my catalogs are delivered so I can pick them up. (they don't go straight to my place).
No flame from here I kind of agree! I do not like getting a catty just before it goes live. I have been a demo for almost 7 years and demos have complained every year about this. Apparently, SU does not agree. So we sit and wait and anticipate. I think about this every year as I wait. Keeping busy helps;) As does knowing that this will happen again in Jan. and next August.

Unless of course, it is beyond SU's IT capabilities. I know it is not beyond UPS's. Why is this any different from the thousands of boxes that will be filled with supplies and sent out after Aug 11?

The catalogs aren't shipped by SU. They are shipped directly from the printer. That is why SU doesn't have the tracking #s.

Totally pouting and feeling sorry for myself.....but I not only have no clue where my preorder catty's might be (along with many of the rest of you), but ordered a copy on the 31st - paid for 2 day and haven't seen the man in Brown all day.....okay, I'm done.:( :(

Me, too. I paid 2nd day on the 31st, and it was supposed to come today. About 1 hr. ago UPS changed the status to rescheduled. Arrrrrr! They can't tell me why, though, and DS says I have to wait until it's delivered to make sure they don't update that it was weather-related before I can get a shipping refund. I was so looking forward to it being on my porch when I got back from the dentist this afternoon.:( Are you in Illinois, too? Maybe it's a Brown Conspiracy?

Shannon, I thought I recognized your name. We're in the same Yahoo group, aren't we? Sorry if I sound a little dense--If I'm right and we are, it's been soooo quiet on there, I'm beginning to wonder if everyone died! Plus, I can never remember if I know someone from there or if I'm just so used to seeing a name on SCS!
I just keep telling myself over and over "tomorrow". I think I can manage to wait 1 more day, but if it doesn't come tomorrow I won't be accountable for the carnage that may occur at my local UPS store!:twisted:

The link WON'T change. The pre-ordered and GR catalogs are NOT shipping from SU! therefore SU! is unable to provide a tracking number. The publishing warehouse elected to not use a reference number when creating the labels so it will just be a surprise when the catalogs show up on our doorsteps.

If you received your catalog, can you put your tracking number here like kkreate did? Maybe there's a pattern. One year, I think there was a pattern based on demo# or something and people were able to figure it out.

1z67v3v503
I'm not sure about the rest of the numbers unless they relate to zip codes or something? But you could put the first numbers in and then add 7 digits after that and just keep fooling around with the numbers. Hee,hee.

I think my catalogs will be delivered before I could figure out the tracking # this way! ;) I would assume that the #s would just be sequential.
What about the single free copy? I am a fairly new demo (only two months) and I didn't pre order the box of cattys, but I am wondering if they send out the singles at the same time or if there is any way to track those?
Received my 2 cases of catties today in North California. They are from a non Great Rewards order. I'll dig around to try to find a tracking # to post.
I guess maybe i'm not understanding. they shipped from LA so some california people have theirs and some east coast people have theirs too. Are the shipping from 2 locations.
