What do you think of the new color coach? It looks like it might be a tool I'm interested in this time around. I never wanted one before. How about you?

In fact, already ordered it on the first catty order. While traveling over the weekend, I looked over the sample images in the new catty just looking at 4-color combos that attracted my eye. It was a cool exercise. Now we'll see if they have followed their own updated color coach.

i got one (older version) as a gift and really liked having it. the updated one looks like a great upgrade. i LOVE that it has monochromatic suggestions on it too. it will definitely be on an order within this next month.
I'm ordering one on my first order next week.
I originally thought I'd never use a color wheel - I could come up with nice color combos on my own. But then a friend bought me one as part of a gift a year ago and I totally loved it! The wheel suggest colors that sometimes sound "off" until you pair them together and they look awesome! Plus, I buy the CS assortment packs a lot and sometimes I end up with 1-2 colors that I just don't like or use as much. That's when I get the color coach out and it suggests combos to help me use up that paper.
You need it.
I already ordered one on my first order. With the new colors, it will be very helpful putting new combinations together. And it looks so much nicer and more helpful than the old one. Can't wait!
The first thing we do at my house when we sit down to make a card or scrapbook page is grab the color coach, it is the only thing that never gets put back on the shelf. It is a MUST!!!!!!
After two years of stamping, I finally decided to get the color coach. Then I found out about the retiring colors and decided to wait. I'm sure glad that I did. It looks much nicer than the old one. The new one will go on my next club order.
I love to play with color, and am pretty confident. And I still want the Color Coach. It was going to go on one of my orders, but I forgot. :( Oh well, I guess I'll have to order again, huh? ;)
I am getting one cause I don't trust my color instincts. lol, I am such a whimp!!

I would like to hear what everyone thinks of the new one after they get it. I have the older one, and thought it was pretty much worthless. So I'll wait to hear feedback on the new one before I buy it.
Already ordered it.... my old one was a HUGE hit with my scrappers clubs... they loved it... it's super for when you are stuck in a rut with colors... really helps you to step out of your box.
Hey, my old one is MIA, too! I really feel like I'm sailing into uncharted waters with these new colors, so I'm definitely getting one! According to the catty, it's also 2 sided, so there's even more than we can see! I didn't get one on my first order, but it will probably be on my next one. Until then, I'll just flip through the catty looking for color combos that catch my eye. That always seems to work!

YES! I was going to buy one earlier because my demo would come up with these great color combos that she attributed to the color coach. I'm so glad I was dragging my feet on it, though! It wasn't on my first order, but probably will be on my second...

I've had so much art theory that I found the old color coach to be a waste of time and more limiting than inspiring. I also have a "color sheet" that I made up of colors that worked well together that I will sometimes look at for ideas. I guess it depends on whether you understand color or not.

I have the original color coach and never really used it. So I hadn't planned on buying it this time around. But after reading the comments that it is "new and improved", I'm reconsidering. Thanks! :p

That's exactly what I was going to say. Sometimes I think folks get too limited using just the SU colors, too. Experiment. Use color combinations from nature. Look through a home decorating magazine. Think out of the box!

I've had plenty of art theory too, but I'm thinking it may inspire me to experiment with colors that I "think" I don't like!

It is UNBELIEVABLE!! Fabulous and fresh. Two sided. All 48 colors represented (24 on each side). It's a must have; I am making a point of bringing this to EVERY workshop - I'll be selling these like hotcakes for sure!
My Color Coach is what I use when my DH isn't around ;) He's normally my "color coach"! I'll be ordering one with my first order!
