Default Recollections Alert

Recollections has started their liquidation sale. Everything is 30% off and they still have tons of product available. Cash or credit only, no checks. Even the store fixtures are for sale.

I've been stalking them -- okay, I *do* just live around the corner from one --waiting for them to increase their discount next. I did buy some stuff @ 20% off...really cute stuff I KNOW wouldn't be there! I can't wait for it to hit 50-75% OFF...it'll be like the day after Christmas for scrappers!

Okay. I looked again. Didn't put in so many words and found the web address. Recollectionsonline.com Found that they do not sell online. They just list addresses of their stores.

I went to the store in Frisco yesterday. Things were selling so well (even though the shelves were still full), the saleswoman told me things might not get to 50% off. Wondering if that is to get us to buy now instead of waiting.
I did hear one other saying that the warehouses are empty, everything is in the stores now.

Mine here is gutted! There is very little left compared to what there was. Everything is 30% off. I got lots and lots of awesome papers, embellishments, adhesive is a steal too. I stocked up on glue dots, tombow, and redline tape. I am very sad to see them go:(

I may have to make a drive to check it out (it is over an hour) but that's nothing for a great sale - right!

I went to the store in Frisco last night thinking there would be absolutely nothing left. Most of the 12x12 is gone but I was amazed at how much 8.5x11 Bazzill they had left. I bought 10 sheets of everything they had. I have no idea how much I really bought, but I have a huge stack of card stock and only spent $60. Honestly, I think it may be over 300 sheets which puts it at about .20 cents per sheet. I think I now have every color .... or at least every color they had left.

I'm very bummed that Michaels is shutting the stores down. I could ALWAYS find what I was looking for there. :9

I know, I'm sad too. They still have gobs of ribbon in Arlington, and I got an email a few days ago where everything is 40-50% off now.

Oh gosh, I was so focused on the paper I didn't go over to the ribbon wall. I guess I'll have to swing by again tonight and see what they have.

Because of course .... one can never let the ribbon supply get below a ton. :p
