Recently I had a birthday and received lots of great cards in the mail from rak people and my daughter would run to see if I had any more for a week after the first one came. So much bad has happened lately that they brightened her day just as much as mine. Now my daughters 10th birthday is coming (4-29) and I am inquiring if there is anyone (or ones) out there that would like to rak her. She would just love a card or a sticker or a packet of cocoa or a stamped image she can color or a bookmark or a postcard or whatever you can imagine in a little envelope.
If you are interested you can send them to:

This last year has been really tough on my DD. I was DXed with MS and not long after had to give up my job due to symptoms of the disability. Not long after our roof gave out directly above her bed and took a big loss to her belongings. This caused us to move out of the only home she had ever know, which is tough enough for a kid without the toppings. She adjusted very well, never fell behind in school and has started a part time job to earn money instead of the allowance she use to get. She busses tables on Sundays for about 4 hours give or take and thinks it is the best thing on earth. She does everything the waitress does include the till and I am so proud of her, I just wish she could kick back and just be young instead. Seeing me get all kinds of fun cards, cocoa, and treats on my 30th from rak people in March was so exciting for her. I let her open all the envelopes just to see her smile. Your cards will be so loved and I can't wait for the gift of seeing her smiling eyes as she opens them.

I have received some packages and cards in the mail, the mail comes before she gets out of school so I have been hiding them. I will plant them back in the mail box starting on Monday and let her check the mail after school all week form the 25th on. I just know she will be 'aw' struck by what you wonderful people have sent. I thank each and every one of you more than I could ever express. I will let her post her own thank you at the end of next week. Thanks a million, bless you all!!!!!!

I think my daughter wants to send her one, too. She is already 10 and loves to stamp. We go through Aberdeen every year on our way to camp out on the beach near Kalaloch, so you are fairly close to us! She has a pen pal in her 5th grade class but she is diasappointed that he is a boy when she would rather have a girl! I hope she gets lots of birthday cards!
