Matt Lammers was recently hit by a roadside bomb in Iraq and is now in the states in the hospital with a long road ahead of him. He lost both legs and a arm. His blog site is http://mattlammers.blogspot.com/
Will make a card for Matt this afternoon and am asking family and friends to do the same. I'm praying for courage and strength for Matt and his family. May God richly bless them!

I just called my daughter away from the great room and "advised" her that we would both be making cards for this brave man. After I explained everything to her, of course.

Here's a peek at the card I made for Matt! On the front it says "God Bless America..." and on the inside it says "...and God Bless You!" I added a personal message too. Off to stamp the envie.... thanks for posting such a great thread.
Lindsay, what a great card! It's soooo perfect! I made a card yesterday for Matt and promptly filed it in the ol' circular file. Dontcha just hate it when you have a reason to make a REALLY special card, and the inspiration doesn't come right away? Even my DH had a hard time saying anything nice about it, LOL! Anyway, I'll try again today. He gave his best and deserves our best!
The kids and I will make some fun cards this afternoon and get them off. Thanks for letting us know of this great man and his sacrifice for our country!
I made my card today and wrote him a note. We are so fortunate we have someone like Matt representing our great country. Our best wishes to his family.
