Quick question about uploading to the Gallery

Hello all,
I was wondering if someone can answer a question. :confused: What is the process for a card photo being uploaded to the gallery? Sometimes I notice it takes a really long time for my uploads to be "approved" and other times they immediately show up. Does it have to do with the amount of traffic here on SCS? I have 2 cards, one that I uploaded earlier today and one from a couple of hors ago and both are still "pending approval". I just thought I would ask because I'm wondering if maybe I'm not doing something correctly. Any answers are greatly appreciated! Thanks so much and I hope everyone is enjoying their day today!

Hi Anne Marie!

If you are not a member of our Fan Club, then your uploads must be approved by our moderators, which happens pretty quickly. They help make sure it's in the right place in the gallery so that it's easy for people to find things.

However, since our mods are all volunteer, we give them a break on Sundays So if you upload something on a Sunday it will be approved by our mod team on Monday.

Fan Club members enjoy instant upload privileges.

And yes, on working days for the mods, upload volume does impact approval time, but it's always within an hour.

Ah, thanks for the fast reply, Lydia. That is great info and completely answers my question. Now I am off to check out the Fan Club...because it sounds pretty cool!
