Question for those who live near Crafts Direct in MN

My friends and I are planning a road trip to shop at Crafts Direct. (We are about 3 hours away.) We are looking at going in July, is there a good time in July to go for the best sales? I thought I read on here that in July stores clearance more things to get ready for CHA, is that true at Crafts Direct?

I haven't ever noticed a special sale. They do take competitor coupons with a dollar donation to the charity of the moment though.

This weekend is a big sale. The Closeout store part of Crafts Direct (bldg to the right as you enter parking lot) is having their Memorial Day Garage Sale for 4 days (Fri to Mon -- 27, 28, 29, 30) and have 30% off the lowest marked price for your Entire Closeout Store Purchase.

In the main store, on Monday the regular store has a coupon for 50% off the regular price (white tag price) on any 1 item with a $1 donation to the Multiple Sclerosis Society (the charity of the month). Plus main store also has a 3 day (Friday to Saturday)only coupon for 40% off the regular price (white tag price) of any 1 item, again with a $1 donation to the MS Society.

Complete and total guess here, but I would think the 4th of July weekend will be a big sale. That seems to be the pattern they follow, big sales on holiday weekends. I've noticed that they seem to have more coupons on weekends, so try to hit a weekend if you can. Also, like tepalf said, they honor other stores coupons. So bring all of your Joann's and Michael's coupons with you. You can get some great deals there with the coupons. Have fun! Crafts Direct is my favorite craft store to shop in.

In July, we have our Crazy Dayz. We do actually try to make room for new CHA merchandise and Fall and Christmas merchandise. Depending on the day, you can save up to 50% off on our clearance Green Tag prices. Sign up for our emails to get the exact dates. It is usually after the 4th of July.

It is true that we have a big Memorial Day sale this weekend, then on June 10-12 is our bag sale. On the bag sale, you get 25% off your entire purchase. Next, is our 4th of July sale. Usually discount coupons for the 3rd and 5th. We are closed on the 4th. To stay up to date on what is happening you can like us on Facebook or sign up for our email at our website.
