At the suggestion of a fellow-SCS'er, I made a funnel out of paper. I used plain printer paper and cut it down to about 3"x11". Roll that up so that it's small enough to fit all the way to the bottom of the bag, and make sure it's big enough for the m&ms or skittles or whatever to slide down. I taped the edge of mine so I don't have to make a new one every time I want to make these things.
HTH!!

I have CDO. It's like OCD, except all the letters are in order like they should be.

That's what I did, but I had to fiddle with the first few to get them to lie flat. It's kind of like using coin rolls. Once you get the first few in right, the rest just fall into place.
Hi ladies- Absolutely love all your creativity- I thought these would be cute for my daughter's girl scout troop to make and sell at their bake sale. How much are you selling these for at craft fairs? Thanks for the great ideas!!
Ok I want some of these but looks like they don't deliver internationally. Anyone wanna send some to me (I'll pay of course). I would love to make some of these at christmas time.

How many are you wanting? I have not placed our group order yet and would be happy to add what you want to the order and ship them to you.
PM me if you are interested.

I would like to get in on this order too, if possible. I would like to order 100 or so. Just let me know what I need to do. Thanks, Pam

I am glad I finally read this thread. I have my bags on order, thank you very much.
I have been volunteered by my DIL to make treat bags at my grand kids school, they (school) remembered what I had done last year. I like this idea much better, it is faster. Are there anymore quick ideas for holiday treats??
I made the Holloween pumpkin cups out of plastic drink glasses but I gave away the instructions as I figured I would not ever make them again. Little did I know they would be such a hit! Now I wish I had kept a copy.

Now I'm intrigued. Do you have a picture?

I get them at Michaels. They are for dipped pretzel rods. Look with the cake and candy supplies.
Oh my gosh - thanks for posting this! I just went to order them from clearbags.com only to find that the shipping was $15.85 for my 7.50 order! Can't do that - it's crazy!
Ok....this is where my "Crafting OCD" kicks in. I have a list of each candy and how many you can get in each stix and how many stix you can get from a bag! I KNOW!!!!!
Regular m&M's : 25 candies per stix / 15 stix per bag
Skittles: 19 candies per stix / 18 stix per bag
These #'s do leave room at the top to attach your tag or topper.
OMG! There is nothing better than a girl with Crafting OCD! Thanks for sharing those numbers... that will be very helpful when we need to make a ton of them.
Still waiting to hear what y'all are selling them for.....I was thinking $2/each or 2 for $3 (as I really thought I'd just get $1.50 each anyway!).
I'd sure appreciate your feedback ~ especially those who have sold these at craft fairs before.
Blessings!
Kat
I sell mine for 1.50 each or $4/5.00. I don't make the profit on these that I would want, but they are a great way of getting some extra sales on other things!
HTH
Beth

For any Canadians out there...I ordered these from Crystal Clear Bags Canada. I ordered 200 and they worked out to be seven cents each and the shipping was only $3.65
No they won't! We did the M&Ms for my daughter's reception this Saturday a month ago and the left over's were accidently in the 'open' (the bag closure broke) and they are still brand new fresh. you are good to go!
On another note--I left 6 days ago for Vegas and this thread was on like, page 1! I guess I need to read it!
Oh my gosh I did not see the posting of this pics before I left for the wedding....omg! These are adorable and I am ordering bags now! Wish I had seen it 4 months ago before I bought all those bloomin' candy jars to fill.
got my bags and i am ready to make these babies. I think it is too early though, do M&M's go stale?
When I lived in California, we were about 20 minutes away from the Oakdale Hershey factory. We liked to take family to take the tour there, when they still had tours. My SIL was shocked to hear them say that chocolate has a 12 month shelf life. We took her there in June and they were making Christmas Hershey Kisses! So, no, I don't think they will go stale. I think the candy coating will keep them fresh even after you open the bag.
Getting ready to start on these for my craft show Oct 2. I bought Reeces Pieces (for halloween/fall) and bubblegum balls for now. Plan on getting M&M's and skittles tomorrow!
