Question Question of the DAY

Ok here is the question....Why is it when you go to a Stampin Up Party with your order form all filled out and payment ready the Demo does something cute and you say i just gotta have it ...lol YIKES.... What my demo is doing right now is we have 12 girls and each of us are hosting each month and we have to spend 20.00 at the parties which is a great idea she put it this way by the end of the year we could have a whole set of stamp pads or marker set ..But now i just have to have punches she used to make a flower yesterday it was the small oval and big oval and it turned out sooo cute UGH..So i thought about it and said wait my party is next month so i will get it then, BUT then she said wait until you see what we are making for your Party and i thought OH NO.....
is there a STAMPIN UP addiction Group? LOL if so let me know PLEASE....I need to enroll.....

OK i just had to share that ......

I'm an addict too ... when I was in a stamp club (last year), I always spent WAY over the minimum ... this year I opted out of the stamp club, but I seem to be spending the same amount! I thought that by not going to the club and "seeing" all the great stuff she was demoing, that I would spend less. Nope!

Is it normal to pay for an order *when* you order it? I thought we paid when we picked it up?

Our minimum is $15 (with 10 people you are guaranteed of getting at least a level 1 hostess) and I NEVER stick to my limit. I'm usually at $30-$35. And even that's hard to stick to!

If you are spending this much regularly, you really should consider becoming a demo!

it's a neverending addiction!!! That's why I just signed up to be a demo!! To get a discount on what I buy, so I can get more for the same $$$!!!! I know I want everything, and while trying to get all the ribbon, wwc, markers, punches, and all the different papers new stamp sets keep coming out that I JUST GOT TO HAVE!!!! At least it's a healthy addiction! I would way rather spend my free money on SU products than smokes or beer!! I cansee everything I've bought in the last year, and think of the smiles I have put on others faces when they recieve something I made JUST FOR THEM!!

You should pay when you place the order. The demo pays as soon as she hits the place order button. Also as demos we don't carry stock so we'd be stuck with it if you change your mind. We can exchange but that costs us in postage and we'd need to have something to exchange for.

I'll submit an order for a select FEW without payment because I KNOW they will pay upon delivery. However, it's on my CC bill until they pay!

Addicts R Us......that's what SCS is! My last order for stamp club was over $300 and my minimum order was $25!! But it wouldn't matter- I would order what I needed/wanted whether or not I was in the club. Being in the club is just more fun!

I admire anyone who can do an order in the 10s of dollars, I always spend in the hundreds of dollars! We need a 12 step program! On second thoughts, nahhh, what price my sanity!

I budget for each club workshop because I want to be fair to all members. If I see more things that I want, I will place a stand-alone order with my demo. This past weekend was a club workshop and I had to work. So it was easy to just keep my spending down. Actually, I have a huge list of SU wants and I have it broken down into orders for club workshops. Needless to say, when it is my turn to host the club workshop, my order will be about $200 with everything that I want.

ROFL... Yes I have that same addiction. For the past 2 years at least I have been in a SU Stamp Club, starting the next one after each club cycle is finished.

I am my demo's highest spending customer ($100-$150 or more) each club month. By myself I always make her quarter quota. Bless her soul but this month is my last month of the SU Club with her...

You wonder why? My addiction has gotten so bad, that I am going to be her downline....lol

Yeah, it's an addiction - and this place is another one.

It's why I am a hobby demo - I can order what I want, when I want it and how much of it I want. It's the best of all worlds for me!
