Default Question on adding your links

Hi everyone, i wonder if someone would be kind enough to help me out, i posted my first card today, not a very good one but i was working with scraps, anyhow that seemed to work ok, but i wanted to join the post for the challenge of the week using the window punch, but i don't know how to add a link for my card to a post, i am not very computer literate so uploading my card was a huge challenge for me.

Thanks Michelle

Michelle, this post will be the "challenged" trying to help the challenged....LOL! I "think" that you pull up your card on the screen, highlight the dealy at the top in the address bar, right click and "copy". Then you go to the forum where you want to post your link......start posting and right click and "paste"......when you submit the post, it should be in your new post and be "clickable". Give it a try, and let me know if it works........The rest of your ladies, promise not to laugh at my directions.....okay?????

Your directions were perfect. I still haven't figured out how to make the link be the name of the card rather than the website address. Anyone want to share those directions?

Make sure you are using the "Standard Editor" or "Enhanced Interface" for posting... IF NOT... click on your name at the very top of the page... Click on "edit options" on the far left column... scroll to the very bottom and change your "Message Editor Interface" box... making sure you "save changes".

Bring up the card/whatever you want to link to your post.

Copy the URL address.

Create your message using a specific word/s for linking.

Highlight the linking word/s.

Click on the globe image above your message... as you mouse over the globe it will indicate "insert link". (The globe is under the smiley face.)

Paste your copied URL in the box that pops up... and then click OK.

Your word/s are now a clickable link.

When your message is complete and ready for posting, click "Preview Post" ... you can then check to make sure your link is working

Have a FUNtastic day!

Dancing Rain

Question Ok, lurker and sorta newbie with question...

I have been lurking for a long time and not really posting.
I'd like to have a cool signature, a link to my teenie 3 card gallery, etc. but I am so challenged in this area.

Can anyone tell me where I can look to start doing this? I tried to upload a new profile picture but am unsure if it worked. What's an avatar anyway?

thanks in advance!
