ok first...the PTI cardstock...I have the stampers select white and their kraft cardstock and ADORE them both (I have nightmares about running out! LOL!). I am curious if their color cardstock is of the same thickness/quality...can anyone that uses the different colors let me know? here's why i ask...
WARNING!!!!!
the January Papertrey Ink blog hop is going on right now...and OH MY WORD! I was so inspired and in love with so many of the projects posted...that I had to place an order IMMEDIATELY for some additional stamps...and while I was at it I ordered a few small packs of different color cardstocks...I'm assuming they are fabulous quality like all of their other products...but am a bit nervous!
and back to the warning...if you aren't looking to spend right now...then don't go perusing the blog hop...you will feel an insatiable urge to BUY BUY BUY! LOL!;)
PTI cardstock is THE best!! All the colors are nice and thick.
And thanks for the warning, I'm sure I would place an order immediately too if I saw all that goodness. ***must not look, must not look, must not look*** hehehehe
thank you all so much for the info! i adore what I have been using so far from PTI...and have been searching for a good solid cardstock in good colors for awhile...so excited for my package to arrive!
I do love PTI's cardstock, but I love SU's ink pads. If PTI's future formulation is good enough for my qualifications, then I'll gladly use up the last of my SU paper and be a PTI guy...
Time will tell.

Agreed- the cardstock is all super thick no matter what colour. There are some colours that seem a little thicker or thinner but I believe Nicole explained on her blog it has to do with the way they accept the dye at the factory. They are all super thick- you won't be disappointed.
Just purchased my first PTI cardstock, and really like it. My only comment about the White, is that is is not as smooth as Stampin UP or Bazzill's, so I'll have to see about the detail and copic issues.

I just bought my first PTI color cs...I bought scarlett jewel to replace SU's old Baroque Burgundy. Very nice paper. I do use PTI white for some things but for me nothing can replace SU WW paper for accepting ink color beautifully.
I have almost all PTI colors and yes they're all excellent quality - nice and thick! In fact it is so thick that I'm unable to use it with my MS deep edge punch and if I accidentally press my nail in the CS it leaves a mark
I love PTI cardstock...it is very good quality! I will happily switch over to all PTI cardstock once they have inks. I love the fact that I can get matching embellishments for really reasonable prices!
Love PTI cardstock!! The white is great with copics, a lot better than SU's, in my opinion. I am addicted!!
I agree 100%. The SU I still have just sits there. I cannot stand the thin feel to it after using PTI.
I use only PTI cardstock now and I love it.
Ginak Designs also has nice cardstock but a more in cost.
I also LOVE PTI's prices. And they best part Nicole said they do not have any plans to increase their costs for the cardstock.
I love PTI card stock and have a good assortment of colors. I especially love their white, cream, chartreuse and aqua mist for card bases.
While it's a bit thicker than the SU cardstock, I don't find the SU cardstock too thin for bases at all (except the Whisper White and Very Vanilla). While these two SU colors are too thin for bases, they are better for stamping and crisp images.
I like the PTI cardstock but I have problems with the corners smushing. And trying to use my cricut with that cardstock it smushes too.
I know where you're coming from. I finally figured out the optimal setting on my cricut for PTI - I use Speed 3, pressure 3, blade 2 and multi cut 2. That seems to work. I don't know if multi-cut will dull my blade sooner than single cuts - need to find that out.
