Default Question about die cut...

I cut the deer images from a Cricut cartridge, and can't for the life of me remember which one it came from. I hunted and hunted and can't find it. It comes from a cartridge that had some sillouhette circular images that included layers, grass, trees etc.. I even tried using the My Cut Search page, and still couldn't find it.

I know, isn't she wonderful!
I still can't believe I didn't think to look at that one. I LOVE the images in it. Although, it is geared towards home decor, there are images that are perfect for scrapbooking or cards.

One thing that helped me with the cartridges was pulling each of the keyboard overlays and scanning them. Then printing to a full sheet of paper. Alphabetized in a notebook. The ones with universal, I think I pulled an image from the internet. I haven’t looked at the notebook in about six months so I’m having a hard time remembering what I did there. And I have a few to add as well!

Thank you!  That is an awesome idea!  I  printed a bunch of the handbooks from the cricut site and have them in a binder, but hadn't thought to do the newer ones.  Thank you so much for that wonderful idea!  I know they are all not listed on that site; plus some are just pamplet types, but I could scan them!

It’s so much easier to sit with the notebook and decide what to do. I still need to get my cartridges linked to my account. And pray that those second-hand ones haven’t already been linked!

I have kept my cricut seperate from the computer.  I just wanted to keep it simple.  I too have purchased some used cartridges and I know a good number have been linked.

I always thought the gypsy would have been neat to have, but I never broke down and bought one.  But I have managed very well without one and probably wouldn't use one enough to justify the cost.

I bet you could get a used Gypsy off of Ebay super cheap. It might have some different cartridges on it. I still have mine but it probably died from old age, lol. It has been in an old tech box for so long.

I have all my handbooks downloaded too.

I got rid of my cartridges when I upgraded to the Explore. Sometimes I regret it. I am very tech savvy but I hate looking for things in Cricut Design Space. It takes so long even when I filter. Still to this day I will go to my cartridges even though they are uploaded, If I want an Eiffel Tower I will just tell Design Space I only want my images.

I don't like Silhouette Store for the same reason. I want to create not scroll, lol.

I have a Cricut Joy too. I love that little thing. I still use my Making Memories Slice because it is just easier to grab a cartridge and cut.

There are so many extra hallways with Design Space too. It’s like oh you need to turn this way for this and this place for that. It gets soooo confusing.

I’m still trying to organize things I’ve downloaded and figuring out what might work best for me to know what I have. 🤦🏼‍♀️

I laughed so hard about your description of Design Space. That is the perfect analogy, lol.

I have an extensive background working with graphic programs. Oh my gosh every single time I get into Design Space I am just clicking my mouse button or tapping on my iPad like a mouse who is tap dancing, lol.
My big thing I am always trying to edit my nodes in Design Space. Of course there is no node editing in Design Space. Since I have used it since it first came out you would think I would stop this, lol.
