Default Question about Angel Companies

I would like to make a few things to try to sell on Esty. Can anyone tell me what stamp companies that I can use? I know the Angel Company is one but I was wondering if there are any others. I don't want to get in any trouble!

Thanks everyone!

Kathy

Gina K. Designs is an angel company. Good luck with your business. I know many talented stampers who sell their stamped projects and it's a nice way to make some money.

There are loads of companies who allow sale of items made using their stamps - what you need to look for is the "Angel Policy" of a company you might be interested in using. Many ask that you give credit for the image on work you sell and some have limits on the number of items you can produce with a single stamp, for example and a few (Whippersnapper springs to mind) prohibit sale of items made with their images but it all comes under the "angel policy" and most place will have that information up on their web site if you know what you're looking for!

There was a thread here a while ago that listed the Angel Policies for loads of the popular companies, I'll see if I can find it for you.

HTH!

Very helpful link, Joanne.

We should probably start a list of angel policies for digital stamp companies, too. Considering the domain name, it's no surprise that AngelsLanding.com is an angel company ;). My policy is here: Digital Stamps Angel Policy.

One more thing to consider is that some companies allow you to make things for sale with their images, but you cannot use any copyrighted material from a different company. That should all be laid out in the policy, though. Good luck to you! There are a few SCS members who do fairly well selling on Etsy and similar craft-related sites.
